HT: Italy 1-0 Wales
If it stays like this in Rome and Baku, Wales will finish second. That will take them through to a last-16 game in Amsterdam next Saturday.
However, there's an awful long way to go before they can start thinking about that.
HT: Italy 1-0 Wales
Italy have scored seven goals at Euro 2020 so far - their most after three games of a major tournament since the 1998 World Cup (7).
HT: Italy 1-0 Wales
I miss going to games so much I've just charged myself £3 for the tea I've just made. No time to cook a pie that's somehow cold on the outside and hotter than the sun on the inside, alas.
It's probably not like that at the Stadio Olimpico anyway. They are probably eating something awesome at half-time.
The second half is moments away.

HT: Switzerland 2-0 Turkey
Switzerland's players received a standing ovation from their fans as they went off at half-time after a strong first 45 minutes in Baku.
They lead Turkey 2-0. Another two goals and they will move into second spot - if Wales don't score against Italy.
HT: Italy 1-0 Wales
Matteo Pessina (24 years and 60 days) is the youngest Italian player to score on his first start at a major tournament (World Cup & Euros) since Antonio Cassano at Euro 2004 (21 years 342 days v Sweden).

This false nine thing doesn't work. It's to our detriment that we don't have a second striker out here. Neco Williams and Connor Roberts are looking for an out ball which isn't there from Ramsey and Bale. Dan James is the out ball - his pace is the only thing they have to beat this defence. Wales can't get out of their own half.

You look at it and I think we've had one effort on goal. Gunter and Rodon both had opportunities with headers. We look vulnerable from set-pieces. I don't know if there are leaders there telling people where they should be and Joe Morrell has been caught out for the goal.

It's been a really difficult half for Wales and the news from Baku is not encouraging either. There's very little room for manoeuvre.
Italy 1-0 Wales
No time added on at all.
Wales are behind and things are looking a bit close for comfort in Group A.
Let's try and relax for a few minutes.
Italy 1-0 Wales
We're really at the four figure minute mark since Italy have conceded a goal now... Just in case you were feeling optimistic.

It's getting a bit nervy for Wales. Switzerland started the day requiring a five goal swing. That is now down to two goals.
What a dramatic Group A finale as the Swiss approach half-time leading Turkey 2-0 and Wales trail to the group leaders in Rome.
Italy 1-0 Wales
Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Rome's Stadio Olimpico
As things stand, Wales are still second in Group A by virtue of goal difference. They are level on points with Switzerland in third.
Wales have a goal difference of +1. Switzerland, who lead Turkey 2-0, have a goal difference of -1.

It's a great run from Matteo Pessina down the heart of the Welsh defence - Aaron Ramsey-esque.
Italy 1-0 Wales
Marco Verratti plays another cute ball into the box and Matteo Pessina is inches away from converting.
Danny Ward then does well to claim a cross.
All Italy. They are getting so much joy in the wide areas.
Italy 1-0 Wales
Italy look full of confidence now.
Wales look desperate for half time. Like a boxer waiting to hear the bell to end the round.

They just keep Wales guessing and pushed back, it's like Matteo Pessina anticipates the bad ball, gets across the defence and with the slightest of touches beats Danny Ward in that far corner.
Italy 1-0 Wales
This illustrates how Italy have been very much on the front foot. The graphic on the left is the Azzurri's average positions in the opening 35 minutes. Wales (right) have been pegged back inside their own half.
