Kalvin Phillips must be so thankful with what Marcelo Bielsa has done for him. He has turned into a machine. Momentum is a key thing. You have players playing really well. It's the wrong time to change players for the sake of a yellow card.

Raheem Sterling has been our best player in this tournament, the most effective player. He's answered the critics and always done that. He's very single-minded, he's focused. He thinks not just about what's on the pitch, but the other things that come into play - the mentality, what you need to do off the pitch in terms of preparation and recovery, and the details to make sure he plays and performs at this level continuously.

He's somebody that this team relies on. The way he performs and the way he plays is very much in terms of making sure he creates panic. Every time he gets the ball there's panic in the opposition.

There's absolutely no chance that Kalvin Philips gets through this game without another yellow.

People saying all 3 teams playing in white went through but all 3 away teams have gone through so far, England are technically the away team tonight. Good omen.

Andriy Shevchenko at Chelsea was a serious guy, a professional guy. He didn't have the greatest time at Chelsea in all honesty. But he is Ukraine's greatest ever player, let's get that right. He flirted with politics when he packed up playing which helps when it comes to management.

Former England defender Matthew Upson, who is in Rome, speaking to BBC One: "You can hear the fans in this stadium. It's a different feel here for sure but you can definitely hear the fans.

"That will help England. It brings a bit of togetherness. It brings the team a bit together. They have to create a tempo themselves.

"Hopefully the team will react and play well and perform. This group in this tournament have been so solid. so organised. They have done the simple things.

"There is no reason why they can't come to a different stadium, a different atmosphere, and perform well."

James Stewart: The arrogance & ignorance of English fans & pundits writing Ukraine off before it's started is staggering. MON THE UKRAINE !!!

Niwaz: Yes, have respect for Ukraine, however England have at least five players over £100m value so anything but a win would be disappointment!

England's centre-halves couldn't have asked for a better shield than the one Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips have given them so far at Euro 2020.

They've slowed the opposition down and covered the ground really well - but they have also been methodical in their play and aggressive when needed, like they were against Germany in the last 16.

If you're a defender, that's exactly what you want in front of you. What I love about them is that those boys know their roles, and they are not bothered about being a superstar.

    Ukraine v England ( 20:00 BST)

    Frank Lampard

Ukraine have technically good players. They are confident to receive balls in deep areas. But this could be a great game for Kalvin Phillips and Mason Mount. Ukraine don't have a lot of pace going forward. it could be a good opportunity to keeping winning the ball back.

There's always pressure when you put on an England shirt. Jadon Sancho not having too many minutes this tournament may hinder him, but I feel like he's a player who can deal with the pressure.

    He's got the quality.

    Ukraine v England (20:00 BST)

    Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One

You don't play for Man City without being a quality individual. Zinchenko will probably play in the central area today but when he went to left back in the last game it got almost 50% more of the ball. In the modern day a lot of full-backs control games. Kimmich, Trent Alexander-Arnold etc. He does that from that side for Ukraine. In central areas, he's shown qualities in the past. We have to be very mindful of him because he can deliver quality balls from those areas.
