We need to be backing Solskjaer as a manager, give him time seeing alot of people saying he's not cut out for the job, I totally disagree hes a red through and through, changing manager every two seasons doesn't help or make one bit of difference give Ole time to build and get behind him!

RE: 15:55 Ross - the 3 players you named and several others are the very reason we need to stick with OGS, he's inherited the worst United squad since the 70's change can't come overnight.

  9. 'You want 11 men on the pitch'published at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

    Shrewsbury v Liverpool (17:00 GMT)

Shrewsbury manager Sam Ricketts speaking with BBC Match of the Day: "It is going to take the lads five or 10 minutes to relax into the game. But I will be making the point that you certainly want 11 men on the pitch and basically stay in the game for as long as you can.

"I'm excited - I have gone from non-league all the way to the top and you want to test yourselves against the best. and as a manager it is no different.

"It's going to be a real tough game whoever they put out there will be international players but ult this is what you want to do.

"This is why the first and second round of the FA Cup - every round we play we told the lads you never know what is around the corner - and then we got the plum tie."

Jones and Lingard finally turning up and putting a performance in against TRANMERE! They should both be playing this type of opposition each week, not good enough to play Premier League football! Where has Lingard been since Ole got appointed? Both need to go alongside Andreas!... And even though I was there to witness Ole win us the Champions League on that magical night, and I know he's a legend, I just don't think he's cut out to be United boss unfortunately! Sorry to anyone who disagrees but time to wake up.

    Ross, bewildered Man Utd fan.

TravellingMonkey: Emma, at 14.39 I Tweeted Jones (possibly) scoring an OG, does that count in this bbcfacup thread? So we've had 2 deflected goals in 1st half, not bad, just remember form and opposition.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be thrilled. The next bit for him now will be getting a clean sheet and making sure everyone gets off the pitch fully fit.

They have been clinical, started off with two shots and two goals. They have come here and been thoroughly professional, done their job and been superbly led by Harry Maguire.
