  1. 'I think it's a red'published at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

    Manchester City 0-0 Fulham

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a huge moment in the game. It's a simple ball but it's a clever dummy that sets Gabriel Jesus through. Tim Ream has got the wrong side, I think it's a red because there's no attempt to ball the play.

  2. RED CARD - Time Reampublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

And he's off too! Oh dear. What an awful start.

  3. PENALTY - Man Citypublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

Tim Ream drags back Gabriel Jesus in the box and the referee immediately blows for a penalty.

    No complaints there.

  4. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

David Silva beats two players, lays it off to Riyad Mahrez on the right but he floats a cross straight into the hands of Marek Rodak.

Former Liverpool and England midfielder on BBC Match of the Day

It's a big game for these lads. There was always going to be some nerves but they will settle down once they have had a few touches.

  6. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

Bobby Reid brings down David Silva, who tries to create something through the middle. Tim Ream then drags back Gabriel Jesus and City have another free-kick about 30 yards out.

The last thing you want to do is give these Manchester City players an easy start - but they got away with it though.

  8. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

Neither team have got the ball down and played yet. A long hoof down the right is nodded on but Nicolas Otamendi is there to pass it back to Claudio Bravo.

Riyad Mahrez is then put under pressure by debutant Terence Kongolo.

  9. Postpublished at 1 min

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

Sloppy from Tim Ream. He tries to play it out from his own area but David Silva is on him like a rash.

It's played inside to Riyad Mahrez but Fulham deal with it in the end.

  10. 'Can they do it for 90 minutes?'published at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

    Tim Cahill
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Match of the Day

Spare man for Fulham is the goalkeeper - if they can utilise him and move the ball then they can play out from the back. Fulham have got the players that can play but whether or not they can do it for 90 minutes is the big question.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Man City 0-0 Fulham

Off we go then (a minute or so late). Can Fulham knock out the defending champs?

  12. 'Cavaleiro has put himself in a team that can get promoted'published at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

Man City v Fulham (13:00 GMT)

    Tim Cahill
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Match of the Day

When you look at the Mitrovic scenario - moving from Newcastle to Fulham - now you see the same situation with Ivan Cavaleiro coming from Wolves.

Traore is on fire - is he going to get his opportunity at Wolves? No. So the move is permanent now and Cavaleiro has the chance to do well in the Championship and also put himself in a team that can get promoted.

SirBobPaisley: £200m academy and one homegrown in today’s squad. Can’t se how Guardiola can moan about fixture congestion.

Mark.Stockport: I have noticed Tranmere have established a sequence over their last five games LDLDL. What next I wonder?

  14. 'We try to win every game'published at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

Man City v Fulham (13:00 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "The [Fulham] team have quality, they are encouraged to play and are good offensively. A good team.

"We try to win every game in every competition we play. It's the FA Cup so we will try to go through. We will try to win our game against Man Utd to go through to the Carabao Cup final. The next game is always the most important one so we will try to win it."

  15. Man City 36-6 FA Cup opponentspublished at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

Man City v Fulham (13:00 GMT)

    John Stanton
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

The FA Cup - and in particular the draw - has been kind to Manchester City in recent seasons.

Since the start of the 2017-18 campaign they have not faced one of the leading Premier League teams, instead coming up against Burnley (twice), Cardiff, Wigan, Rotherham, Newport, Swansea, Brighton, Watford and Port Vale, with one trophy and an aggregate score of 36-6 to show for it.

And while Fulham may have beaten a top-flight side in Aston Villa in round three, they were humiliated at home by managerless League Two side Oldham last year, so their recent memories of this competition are far less positive.

  16. 'Want my players to show personality'published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

Man City v Fulham (13:00 GMT)

    Fulham

Fulham manager Scott Parker speaking with BBC Match of the Day: "Preparations have been short because the fixtures in the Championship have been thick and fast. We have not had too much time to plan but we are prepared as well as we can be and we are looking forward to today's game.

"We all understand the task ahead of us but it is a task we are thoroughly looking forward to. What I want from my time today is to show personality - to have a conviction about us.

"Things are going well for us this season and there is no bigger test against one of the best teams in Europe."

Wolvesfan: Sick of managers and players moaning about playing too many games. These are fully pampered footballers/managers who get paid a lot of money a week, I'd happily swap along with all the football fans in this country, they need to do a 9-5 Mon to Fri, stop moaning.

  18. 'Quality CBs are worth their weight in gold'published at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

Man City v Fulham (13:00 GMT)

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Aymeric Laporte is missing from the Manchester City squad again today.

My question is: 'Where are all the quality centre-halves?'

Liverpool went out and spent all that money on Virgil van Dijk and it now seems like a bargain.

You look around and say why is there a dearth in centre-halves. If you can produce one they are worth their weight in gold.

  19. The best of the statspublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2020

And they have won all five FA Cup home matches under Pep Guardiola by an aggregate score of 25-3.

Fulham have not conceded a goal since the third-round win against Aston Villa, keeping three clean sheets.
