  1. 'Guardiola is the best in the world'published at 19:45 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

Real Madrid v Man City (20:00 GMT)

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane: "It’s Real Madrid-Manchester City, it’s not Guardiola-Zidane.

"At the end of the day, it’s a football match, that’s what people want to see. It’s a great fixture, we’re happy because these are the games we want to play in.

"I say Guardiola's the best coach in the world because he’s always shown it. First at Barcelona, then at Bayern, and now at City. There are many coaches in football, but for me personally, he's the best.

“We're not scared of playing against Guardiola. I was with him for a few days when he was at Bayern, discussing how to manage a team, and he was very honest, open, and I learned so much from talking to him.

“We know we're up against a very good side, they've shown it time and again and they'll come here to play football."

Real Madrid v Man City (20:00 GMT)

Manchester City are in the knockout stages for the seventh straight season, reaching at least the quarter-finals in three of the last four campaigns.

Under Pep Guardiola, City have twice gone out in the quarter-finals, with one exit in the last 16

They have been knocked out in each of their three previous Champions league two-legged ties against Spanish clubs - Barcelona in the last 16 in 2014 and 2015 and Real Madrid in the 2016 semi-finals.

Lyon have reached the knockout stages more times than any other French club - 11.

But they have not been beyond this stage in a decade. They have only scored three goals in their last nine Champions League knockout games.

Seven of their last eight home games in the tournament have been a draw - with four 2-2s. The last time they lost one was against Juve in October 2016.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the top scorer in Champions League history with 128.

Impressively, he has scored more goals in the knockout stages (65) than group games (63). None of the other seven players to have scored 50 goals in the tournament have done that.

Ronaldo has also registered more assists in the Champions League against Lyon (four) than any other side.

It's not a surprise Gareth Bale is on the bench for Real. They don't count on him anymore.

The star of the team is Fede Valverde. He is only 21, a Uruguayan box-to-box midfield player, who brings the dynamism to the team.

"They are a complete team and we have to solve the problems collectively."

    Lyon v Juventus (20:00 GMT)

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri said the club's supporters "have every right" to attend tonight's game despite the coronavirus outbreak.

There have been 300 cases of the disease and 12 deaths in Italy, while a French citizen has died too.

Two Lyon mayors have asked asked French authorities not to allow Juve fans to travel to the game.

Juve will face Inter Milan behind closed doors in their next league game.

But Sarri says it is a "European problem, not an Italian problem".

"Obviously we have to confront the problem and the authorities need to firstly contain it," he added.

"In Italy we have done 3,500 tests and we have a certain number of positive cases. In France about 300 tests have been done, so probably if they had done as many tests as us there would be as many positive cases."

"It's normal in the Madrid media to speak about Madrid," he said.

"I'm completely sure [of] the commitment of our players. It's about what they've shown for many years - nothing changes.

"At the end of the season nobody knows what is going to happen. With calm we decide what we want, but for the next three months the commitment will be incredible."

Asked whether he would one day like to play for La Liga leaders Real, he told AS: "How do I answer that one? Is the camera live or is it just taking pictures?
