Real Madrid had just three shots in the first half, their fewest at half-time at the Bernabeu in the Champions League since November 2013 against Galatasaray.

Nicks: From what I have seen so far Bayern Munich are far ahead of any other Round of 16 opponents. Definitely the favourites to win it.

Dave, Manchester: Benjamin Mendy has been a disaster all game. Constantly giving the ball away, he needs to wake up.

Ash Williams: Considering how technically gifted these two teams are this must be the most boring game of this round so far.

  4. 'Both teams good out of possession'published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

City have kept Real at bay, other than the Benzema header. City have grown into it with Jesus off the shoulder on the left and Bernardo down the right.

But both teams look really good out of possession, they are aware of the firepower the other team has, and they have to be like that.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Lyon 1-0 Juventus

The haft-time whistle goes in Lyon. The hosts completely deserve this lead. They have had 10 shots to Juve's four. Their keeper hasn't had a save to make yet.

  6. 'Ramos was very lucky'published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    John Murray
    BBC Radio 5 Live commentator

Sergio Ramos nearly sliced it into his own net. Real were very fortunate there.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

Half-time. City will be happy with that first half but it wasn't a great watch.

  8. Postpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

So close! City have a shot cleared off the line. Well actually it looked closer on first viewing.

Thibaut Courtois flaps at a corner and Gabriel Jesus' volley goes through a crowd of bodies. It's actually going wide and Sergio Ramos almost sends it towards goal but they hack it away.

  9. 'Can City make more chances?'published at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

City have started to grow in possession but now the question is whether they can make more chances.

    Lyon 1-0 Juventus

I wonder how many free-kicks Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in the past few years. He takes one for Juventus but just hits the wall. Not sure anybody expects him to score a free-kick.

  12. Postpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

Dreadful from Kyle Walker. Fernandinho plays a nice ball out to the right flank. Walker thinks Ferland Mendy has handled it so stops playing and just appeals as Mendy takes the ball on. Real don't make anything of it though.

  13. Postpublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

Real midfielder Fede Valverde is getting some help from the physios after getting a whack to the face. Zinedine Zidane goes over to check on him.

  14. 'Madrid crowding out Mahrez and Bernardo'published at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I know we are looking for more chances, but I'm still fascinated by the set-ups. Whenever there is a sniff of danger, we've seen Mahrez and Bernardo crowded out by a host of white shirts.

  15. Postpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Lyon 1-0 Juventus

Miralem Pjanic gets lucky for Juventus here. His backpass is atrocious and plays in Karl Toko Ekambi - but the Lyon player smashes his shot over the bar.

Paul: Juventus need to get rid of Sarri. They'll never win Champions League with him in charge. He's taken them backwards in league and now making a Lyon team look better than the Lyon that PSG made look comically bad in league.

  17. VAR

Video Assistant Refereepublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Lyon 1-0 Juventus

There is a VAR check here for a potential Lyon penalty for a Juan Cuadrado handball...

But it is not given. Cuadrado's arm was by his side and the ball hit his thigh first.

  18. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

City's second shot on target as Bernardo Silva cuts in but his weak effort is easily dealt with by Thibaut Courtois.

  19. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

As Real start to take the free-kick, the referee sees an infringement in the box - and gives Manchester City a free-kick.

  20. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

    Real Madrid 0-0 Man City

City taking risks now. Benjamin Mendy, who is already on a yellow card, almost catches Luka Modric and then Rodri chops down Karim Benzema.
