    Real Madrid 1-2 Man City

    Phil McNulty

A superb performance and result for Manchester City. It was a thoroughly deserved victory with pretty much everything spot on from Pep Guardiola’s gameplan to the players on the pitch apart from the sloppy Real Madrid goal.

Peeps: Ramos gets what he deserves. Filthy player for years and I can't wait for him to retire. Liverpool fan here. Love watching Real lose.

Gerard Ryan: Not a City fan but you've got to love watching this Man City team. And their manager is a genius.

Amrul Chowdhury: This has to be one of the worst Real Madrid sides in history. Going through a crisis period.

Such a turnaround. City knew this was a big game for them. The players put everything in. It was all work ethic and concentration.

Kevin de Bruyne was magnificent at times. In a role that is difficult at times when you are not always getting the ball, but when he did, he delivered.
