Such an experienced keeper. What an absolute shocker from Reina. I don't know where he is going. He's 20 yards outside his area. Barnes pokes the ball past him and he stays composed. It goes through Tyrone Mings' legs. Brilliant from Barnes but an absolute gimme from Reina. Disastrous goalkeeping. What was he thinking? There was no need for him to come.

Leicester just about deserve the lead.

    Harvey Barnes

That is just HORRIBLE for Pepe Reina.

Marc Albrighton does well to pick out Harvey Barnes' run down the left, but the Leicester winger still has plenty to do until Pepe Reina decides he can match Barnes for pace.

He allows Barnes to simply knock the ball past him, miles out of his goal, before Barnes slots Leicester ahead by shooting through some desperate Villa defenders.

That is so, so unnecessary from Reina and not what Dean Smith needed at all.

    Leicester's goal drought is over.

Villa fan here, really struggling to see what benefit John Terry is bringing to the table with one of the worst defences in the Premier league

Great work from Leicester, who steal possession back with Douglas Luiz unaware of the danger around him.

James Maddison sends Harvey Barnes on his way down the left, but Barnes sends a low shot straight at Pepe Reina and the chance is wasted.

I can't believe this game is still 0-0 when you think about the chances both teams have missed.

Noel Fitzpatrick: This game is crying out for Jamie Vardy!! All those fantastic crosses into the box

KoloKK: Aston Villa defending like they are playing in the St. Johnstone Paint Trophy.

    Leicester 0-0 Aston Villa

    Huge chance for Kelechi Iheanacho!

Another corner - Leicester's fifth of the game - causes more chaos in the Villa penalty area and this time it falls to Iheanacho who stabs the ball wide from a great position.

That should be 1-0. Villa MUST sort themselves out at these set-pieces asap.

Decent few minutes for Leicester. They are the team probing now.

That one causes concern in the Villa box but the visitors do eventually clear.

Dean Smith's side still can't get out though and are weathering some serious pressure now.

James Justin is cool under pressure after receiving the ball from Kasper Schmeichel.

Up the other end, he helps earn another corner for his side but Villa deal with it much more convincingly than they did earlier.

Leicester keep coming, though, and James Maddison will get another chance to swing a corner in...

    Leicester 0-0 Aston Villa

Despite a bright start, Aston Villa are yet to record a shot on target.

Their last shot arrived in the eighth minute and they've been unable to really build on a very positive first 10 minutes or so.

Kyle: If Leicester don't win this they are in real danger of being brought back to the champions league chasing pack. The title race is well over but its still going to be a great end of the season in the top 4 and relegation races. Great for the neutral.

Leicester continue to build from the back despite some uncomfortable pressure from the visitors who are pressing high up the pitch.

The home support are roaring their side on but Brendan Rodgers side are struggling to get out of their half for the moment.

Michael Oliver was in a perfect position, six yards away. He must have got it right.

Guilbert got a touch, just. It was millimetres.

Penalty? No! Not for now at least...

James Justin breaks into the Villa penalty area and is brought to a stop by Frederic Guilbert with a big tackle.

Replays show Guilbert actually did really well there to reach the ball first.

Sadly I'm not England manager Gareth, no. I'm Chelsea supporting Gareth who'd ideally love all three of Loftus-Cheek, Maddison and Grealish to get selected for the England squad along with the likes of Sterling, Rashford, Mount, Alli and Barkley. Who needs defenders anyhow?

    Gareth (not Southgate).

Thanks for clearing that up, Gareth.

Tom McCarron: Not a Villa fan by any means but I hope they stay in the Premier League, at the cup final their fans cheered louder for a corner than City's when they lifted the cup. They're a proper big club not a pretender

Jonny Evans attempts to pick out Harvey Barnes, high on the left flank, from deep inside his own half.

It goes out for a Villa throw but Leicester quickly win it back and Kelechi Iheanacho is stopped just as he threatens to break free in the box.

The Foxes are building some momentum.

Some concern for Villa forward Mbwana Samatta who comes off worse in an aerial challenge - but he looks to be okay now.

Moments later, Wilfred Ndidi clatters into Jack Grealish but the tackle is a fair one.

A good battle this so far.
