  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Easily the best chance of the match early in the second half.

Lewis Ferguson turns superbly down the left, drives into the Killie box, and looks to have got his shot on target from a tight angle, but Laurentiu Branescu produces a terrific save to tip it wide.

  11. Barisic injury worry for Rangerspublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-4 Rangers

Left-back Borna Barisic is a doubt for Wednesday's Premiership trip to Kilmarnock after the Croatian was forced off with a hip complaint in the second half of today's win at Hamilton.

"We don't think it's a major concern but he's one that we're going to have to try and do our best to get out there on Wednesday because he's so important for us," said boss Steven Gerrard.

No goals, no real chances, the wind is the only winner after a disappointing opening 45 minutes at Pittodrie.

  14. HALF-TIME St Mirren 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

Despite the challenging conditions, it's been a really entertaining game in Paisley.

Ilkay Durmus hit the post inside the first five minutes, while Alex Jakubiak and Jon Obika also came close for the hosts.

But Motherwell have had a bit more quality in the final third, and though Mark O'Hara's goal was a rebound, they probably just about deserve the lead at the break.

  15. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

It has been a poor half of football at Pittodrie, where chances have been at a premium.

Aberdeen have had several opportunities to cross from corners, free-kicks, and from the wings where they've found space, but every time the delivery has been inaccurate - most likely due to the windy conditions.

Kilmarnock look comfortable, despite the home side now enjoying the lion's share of possession.

It is almost 500 minutes of football since the Dons found the net, and they look no closer so far.

  16. HALF-TIME Inverness CT 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

Well, let's hope the wind sweeps in some entertainment in the second half. The Inverness striker Miles Storey has looked the most likely player to break the deadlock, having one shot blocked on the goalline and knocking one over the Livi bar.

Livi lost 2-0 to Ross County during the week - they'll be hoping they're not heading south again this evening with nothing to show for their efforts.

  17. HALF-TIME Ayr United 1-2 St Johnstonepublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

St Johnstone have the advantage at the break but they've had to work for it in Ayrshire.

Aaron Drinan raised home hopes of another Scottish Premiership scalp after knocking Ross County out of the tournament last month but Aaron Muirhead's own goal followed by his red card and Callum Hendry's header has put Saints in control.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    St Mirren 0-1 Motherwell

Another good stop from Vaclav Hladky, after Chris Long makes space on the edge of the box before firing towards the near post. The resulting corner comes to nothing.

  19. Gerrard had to 'rattle cages'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-4 Rangers

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard had to "rattle a few cages" at half-time as his team eventually swept Hamilton Academical aside earlier today.

Dogged Accies fought back from a goal down to hold Rangers until the final quarter. Three strikes eventually secured a 4-1 victory and passage to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals for Gerrard's men.

"I was very disappointed in us defensively in the first half," the manager told Rangers TV. "I had to address that at half-time and rattle a few cages and get them switched on and focused and in the right place defensively.

"Once we did that, we played some nice stuff, created a lot of chances and scored some really impressive goals."
