Does that chance signal a change in momentum in this game? It was all Norwich up until then. The Canaries have had 76% of the ball.

Good question Paul. Not a clue.

The big question is, will Match of the Day be using the crowd noise in the highlights?! I'm hoping they do!

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Southampton's first attack is a decent one, Nathan Redmond chops into the penalty area and is closed out. It comes back in from the left, Danny Ings goes in for a header and it pops up nicely for Tim Krul to save.

    Danger signs for Norwich though.

We talked about the positive start from Norwich, the full-backs Jamal Lewis and Max Aarons are pushing right forward and putting pressure on Southampton.

They needed a fast start for their confidence.

With over 100 days off, you wonder about the fitness but Daniel Farke's team are looking extremely sharp.

    They have to win tonight.

    Nice, Matt, really nice!

As is that! Good hit on the run from Kenny McLean, lashed in from 20 yards with a bit of fade on it and it skims into the side-netting.

Norwich looking a real threat, they play some lovely football don't they.

Another sweeping attack ends at the feet of Josip Drmic, and his shot is cleared away.

That was brilliant defending from Danny Ings. Read it like a sweeper. Very strong start from the hosts.

Sharp start from Norwich early on.

With Timm Klose and Ben Godfrey back, Southampton have some sizeable players to deal with.

There's no crowd noise played out at any of the stadiums, it's all just an optional audio channel for your feeds at home.

Norwich have a free-kick on the left, in it comes and that's a chance! Almost fell nicely for Tom Trybull but after he chests it down Danny Ings toes it clear.

Back in the late 80s Watford regularly played crowd noise over the tannoy.... and that was when there was a crowd inside the ground. Oh how us away fans laughed at the ridicule... Little did we know that 30 years on it would be normal!!!

All 22 players ring the centre-circle as they gather for a minute's silence to mark those lost to the pandemic.

We'd expect the players and officials to then take a knee just before kick-off, as is the new norm.

No catering - that reminds me to brew up. Be back for kick-off...

    Here come the teams.

You arrive and it is all very security conscious. You have to come in your own car and have to give you registration number.

You have to fill in a health questionnaire and have your temperature taken.

There is no media lounge, no catering and you go straight to your seat.

An area which would usually have around 60 people now has 10.

The pre-match music comes on but when it goes off you realise you are on your own and how quiet it actually is.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke talking to Sky Sports:

"The biggest challenge is the game. We have to prepare the players in the best possible way. We are convinced there is a chance, we are full of hope, we trust each other and we have nothing to lose.

"We have had several setbacks but against all the odds we want to go all the way. Nine games and we are not naive, we know we need at least five wins. A huge task but it is doable and possible. Not realistic but doable.

"Sometimes in football you achieve special things, not realistic things."
