Vital goal for the Addicks in their fight against the drop.

    Charlton 0-0 QPR

A quiet opening spell at The Valley in this London derby.

There was a poignant moment before kick-off though as both teams conducted a minute's applause in memory of those connected with Charlton who have passed away in recent months.

They include former Addicks defender and then later assistant manager and manager Theo Foley, who died on Friday, aged 83.

The Irishman was also a reserve team coach at QPR.

Another corner for lively Luton as Jacob Butterfield picks out Dan Potts but his header hits the side netting.

    Preston 0-0 Cardiff

Albert Adomah seizes the initiative for Cardiff as he forces his way upfield and creates the first chance that the Bluebirds have seen in this game.

However he drags a left-footed effort past the post. Better stuff from Cardiff as they look to disrupt what has been a comfortable start for Preston.

First corner of the game to Luton as Dan Potts combines well with Elliot Lee down the left. Jacob Butterfield's delivery is headed clear by the Swansea defence.

It's been a bright start this from Luton.

    Preston 0-0 Cardiff

Big shouts for a penalty from Preston after Scott Sinclair goes down in the box.

Another flowing passing move from the hosts down the right flank sees Sinclair pounce on to a loose ball and he goes to ground claiming to have been brought down.

There's not much contact from the onrushing Cardiff defender Leandro Bacuna, however, as referee Oliver Langford waves away the hosts' protests.

    Preston 0-0 Cardiff

Preston get the first shot of this match and it's Jayden Stockley who tees up Tom Barkhuizen to try his luck with an audacious shot from just outside the box.

Fortunately for Cardiff, his effort sails wide of the left-hand post and it remains all square in these early stages.

    Swansea v Luton (12:30 BST)

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

It's a big day for the two Welsh clubs in the Championship as they both look to sustain their bids to reach the play-offs.

Swansea, who are ninth and a point outside the top six after last weekend's 3-0 win at Middlesbrough, welcome bottom club Luton to the Liberty Stadium for an early kick-off.

At the same time, Cardiff, who are seventh and outside the play-off spots only by goal difference after beating title-chasing Leeds 2-0, travel to Preston, who occupy that precious final play-off place in sixth.

As ever, it's tight at the top of the Championship, and today's results could have a major bearing on the race for the play-offs.

Many people are using the iFollow streaming service to watch their team's Championship matches while fans aren't allowed in stadiums, but some missed the opening minutes of last Saturday's games because of a technical issue.

It was resolved within 15 minutes and there were more than 50,000 concurrent streams once the issue had been fixed.

The English Football League have been assured by the streaming provider that the necessary steps have been taken to resolve the problem.

So, in light of Brentford's win against leaders West Brom last night, here's how the top of the Championship stands heading into today's fixtures.

Brentford's second straight victory since football's return moved them within five points of top spot, with Leeds able to dethrone the Baggies at the top depending on the result when they take on fourth-placed Fulham today.

Leeds trail Albion only on goal difference. If Fulham win at Elland Road, however, it would reduce the gap between the top two and the chasing pack to four points.
