Wayne Rooney with another goal for Derby County...

The Rams looking very much on song here as he decisively sends the penalty kick into the top left corner.

  3. PENALTY TO DERBYpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 27 June 2020

    Derby 1-0 Reading

Could be two goals in a matter of minutes for Derby here....

Martyn Waghorn is clumsily brought down by Reading captain Liam Moore and that's an easy decision for referee Scott Duncan to make as he points to the spot.

    Charlton 1-0 QPR

QPR make a decent start to the second half at The Valley as Jordan Hugill forces a very good save out of Dillon Phillips in the Charlton goal.

Probably should've put that away from close range as he somehow found himself completely unmarked from six yards out.

    Tom Lawrence (44 mins)

Derby weathered a decent spell from Reading for a short while there but have come through it and got a decent goal to go ahead just before half-time.

Tom Lawrence calmly finds the back of the net with a right-foot curling shot from the edge of the box.

Rafael not able to get to that at full stretch in the Reading goal.

    Preston 0-0 Cardiff

It's an edgy beginning to proceedings in the second half at Deepdale with the ball bobbling around midfield.

Neither side have had an effort on goal since we restarted, with some fine defending at either end.

Not many goals around, is there? A frustrating day for the strikers.

Just the one at Charlton in our five early Championship games so far.

    Derby 0-0 Reading

Reading with a decent spell here and they go close once more to opening the scoring.

They hit base of the post as Ovie Ejaria almost squeezes a shot in low past Ben Hamer after sprinting past Jayden Bogle on the Reading left.

    Derby 0-0 Reading

Half an hour gone at Pride Park.

Very little in terms of clear cut goalmouth action.

But Reading forward Yakou Meite fails to connect cleanly on the volley and fires well over the crossbar. That's another decent move from the visitors that hasn't had the clinical touch when needed.

  13. Bin Laden seat removed from Elland Roadpublished at 13:27 British Summer Time 27 June 2020

    Leeds v Fulham (15:00 BST)

Earlier this week, though, Leeds said they would "ensure there are no more offensive images" after a photograph of Osama Bin Laden was placed on a seat at their Elland Road ground.

Supporters are unable to attend the remaining games of the season because of the coronavirus pandemic with several clubs, including Leeds, inviting fans to send in photos of themselves or loved ones to put on empty seats.

Leeds said earlier this month that there will be 15,000 'Crowdies' in place, external for their remaining five home games, each one costing £25.

The image of the al-Qaeda leader, who was killed in 2011, has been removed.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:23 British Summer Time 27 June 2020

    Barnsley 0-0 Millwall

First real attempt from either side is a rasping free-kick from Barnsley's Cauley Woodrow but Lions keeper Bartosz Bialkowski tips it over superbly.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 27 June 2020

    Preston 0-0 Cardiff

As the sun comes out following a pretty dismal spell of weather at Deepdale, the first half comes to an end.

Unlike the weather, there's been plenty of bright moments for either side but it remains goalless between Preston and Cardiff at the break.

    Derby 0-0 Reading

George Puscas misses out on finishing off a lovely flowing counter-attacking move by Reading.

Chris Gunter with the nice low pass across field to get it started, but Puscas fails to hit the target and test Ben Hamer in Derby's goal as he blasts it over the crossbar.
