Hopefully Slaven Bilic has calmed down a bit from Saturday's 1-1 draw at Blackburn, where his West Brom side dropped points in their charge to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League. He was raging.

While the Baggies remain second, Bilic knows there is pressure with Brentford and tonight's opponents Fulham waiting to capitalise on any slip-ups, but trusts in the processes which put them in this position to challenge.

"We don't have to do anything different," Bilic told BBC Radio WM. "Just show a bit more concentration or a bit of luck to convert those chances.

"We're playing a very good team, who are on a good run, a team that has chances for automatic promotion.

"Fulham has quality, a top team with a lot to play for and we have to be on top of our game. We need to be confident and extremely brave."

We'll get onto the later kick-offs in a bit, because frankly, there's plenty to build up to in our early encounter at The Hawthorns.

    It's a little bit tasty.

We might be kicking off in West Bromwich shortly, but there will be plenty of action to keep you abreast of throughout the evening.

At 18:00 BST Neil Warnock's relegation-threatened Middlesbrough travel to a Reading side who just keep squirrelling away points under Mark Bowen. The old stager will need all of his nous to get Boro firing here.

Meanwhile, another side desperately trying to stay afloat, Hull City, take on a Wigan side hoping to amass any many points as possible in a bid to wipe out their own drop fears with a 12-point deduction for administration pending.

At the other end of the table, it's a bit of a shootout between Cardiff and Derby, as each could seriously dent the other's play-off hopes. No one really wants a draw here.

    How are the nerves?

Three games remain in the Championship and for promotion-chasing West Bromwich Albion and Fulham, they are destiny-defining.

Both have breathed in the rarefied air of the Premier League in recent times, and would dearly love to be back amongst the big boys.

They could of course go up together but only two from 24 can win promotion automatically, avoiding the lottery of the play-offs. It's some carrot.

This afternoon's game at The Hawthorns is one serious jostle for position in the end-of-season scrap for precious points.
