    Reading 1-1 Middlesbrough

Yakou Meite gets on the end of a cross but the Reading forward heads over.

At the other end, Boro's Ashley Fletcher appeals for a penalty near the byline but there was minimal contact from the defender chasing alongside him.

Mr Cappy: Such a once in a lifetime moment, you gotta go for double figures haven't you?

We should let you know that there are four more games to come at 19:45 BST, although it's doubtful any will match the level of bonkers that we've had at the DW Stadium so far.

    Wigan 7-0 Hull

Well then, let's go again shall we?

How many will Wigan get? Can Hull restore any sense of pride or respectability? They've made three subs at the break.

They're also back under way in Reading, where the Royals are currently 1-1 in a much more sedate contest against Middlesbrough.

Jordan Ramsden: Barnsley fan here - as bad as we've been this season, we didn't win a game for three months, if Hull stay up given how they've been since new year, I'll give up on football.

David Howell: As it stands, the Wigan points deduction would put them 21st. Staying out of the drop zone on goal difference. To Hull. With a 25-goal gap, almost half of it having been opened in the last 20 minutes!

Eugene Ward: Is that Wigan-Hull half-time score football or rugby league?

Lewis Starks: I have just seen the Wigan v Hull scoreline. At first glance I thought they were playing rugby!!

Mark Lincoln: Only a converted try and a drop goal for Hull to pull back in the second half, should be doable. What's that you say? They're playing football?

Joe Robinson: Always exciting when the scoreline gets so high that it requires a word in brackets (seven).

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

Honours shared at the Hawthorns where West Brom and Fulham finish in stalemate.

The Baggies still have that buffer on the top two so victory wasn't as imperative for them. They didn't offer enough as an attacking force to break down the visitors, despite an improved second-half.

Fulham went close when Anthony Knockaert smacked the crossbar with an effort but this point is a dent to their automatic hopes. Surely five points with two to play is too much. Play-offs beckon for Scott Parker's boys.

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

More balls being unloaded into the West Brom box but with some industrial clearing the danger is averted.

    Nothing cultured about it.

    Michael Hector flicks in. Cleared.

Aleksandar Mitrovic tries to bring a ball down. Cleared.

Slaven Bilic is going crackers on the bench.

All square at the interval, thanks to Ashley Fletcher's equaliser for Boro just before the break.

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

Filip Krovinovic comes on for Matheus Pereira. West Brom give their schemer a break.

Fulham attack subsequently down the left and another Joe Bryan cross skews behind for a corner.

    Wigan 7-0 Hull

Ok, so Wigan are leading Hull 7-0 (SEVEN) at the break at the DW Stadium.

No Wigan fan will have wanted that half to end - no chance.

Grant McCann's half-time teamtalk will be VERY interesting to say the least.

    Wow!

  13. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

    Neeskens Kebano gets a corner.

It's dealt with by the West Brom defence.

Ball has been tossed forward by the Baggies, it bounces around as Fulham hover back and in the end as Matheus Pereira loitered, Denis Odoi has to scrabble to hook away.

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

Cyrus Christie comes on for Tim Ream, as Fulham make a tweak.

Ream has put himself about a bit, and didn't look too chuffed about getting an early sit-down.

    Five minutes of added time.

  16. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 18:46 British Summer Time 14 July 2020

    Boro back on terms!

Patrick Roberts crosses from the right and Ashley Fletcher glances a header into the far corner.

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

Fulham waste a free-kick for a foul on Bobby Decordova-Reid, curling it straight through to Sam Johnstone.

Before the days of the keeper not being able to pick up the ball directly from a team-mate, you'd call it a backpass.

Oh for some of the goals from Wigan. I said it was like a rugby league fixture that one, and even the scoreline is now...

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 87 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Fulham

Oooooh! West Brom's Hal Robson-Kanu went down after brushing shoulders with Tim Ream and the appeals are extremely audible.

Slaven Bilic, near foaming of mouth and incensed, appeals for it but nothing coming. Was a tame coming together.
