Northampton Town striker Callum Morton told Sky Sports:

"We came here with a plan and we couldn't have done any better. I'm delighted.

"We've had 2-0 leads this season and choked them and we knew if we came and put it on them, they would crumble, and it happened.

"It's disappointing not to have any fans but we didn't have any today and got the result.

"We've come here and put it on them and we can do that next week. Hopefully we can go on to get promoted."

Time is ticking down for Cheltenham, now.

They've looked reinvigorated in the past five minutes or so but they are yet to find a breakthrough.

Alfie May finds space on the left-hand side of the box once more and this time tries to bend it home but his effort travels narrowly over the bar.

Alfie May gets on the end of a loose ball but fires over Steve Arnold's goal.

A Cheltenham corner sails across the face of goal and is cleared away by Northampton who break on the counter.

Michael Harriman puts in a lung-busting run upfield and attempts to dink it home but Owen Evans collects it for the hosts.

Chris Hussey stands over a Cheltenham free-kick in a dangerous area as he looks to get the hosts back on track and get some sort of foothold back.

However, he buries his effort high over the crossbar. Northampton have had 22 attempts on goal tonight. Cheltenham have managed just nine.

Nicky Adams has been the catalyst of both Northampton goals tonight and he's almost got himself involved in the build-up of a third.

He plays a neat ball towards Ryan Watson who sends a walloping effort towards goal from long range but it cannons off a crowd of Cheltenham bodies desperately trying to neutralise yet another Northampton attack.
