I think my favourite moment of this match is the noise Charlie Goode makes when he sends a long throw-in towards the Cheltenham box.

A proper good "WAHHHHHHH!" as he launches it about 25 yards. Tremendous.

This game is oozing with intensity. This could be an entertaining finale.

A clever backheel from Callum Morton plays Vadaine Oliver through into the Cheltenham box but can he double his tally for the evening and put Northampton on level terms?

The answer is no, as he thumps his shot straight into the hands of Robins keeper Owen Evans.

Nonetheless, good stuff from Northampton and Oliver proving dangerous once again.

Exeter manager Matt Taylor has been talking to the media after his side's semi-final win over Colchester, and it's fair to say he's pleased with what he saw.

“We’ve seen moments like this in Exeter City’s history. It’s such a shame the fans weren’t here to witness it.

“To win that game in extra time they would have been on the pitch and the players need to understand what a big moment that is.

“For the last three-and-a-half or four months Exeter City have shown great games of old on the website - the lads have been involved in that today.

Sam Hoskins and Callum Morton link up in a quick set of passing to find Vadaine Oliver who can't quite hit the target.

Soon after, Oliver heads on to a long ball into the box from Charlie Goode but he heads over the bar from point blank range.

Vadaine Oliver is playing havoc in the Cheltenham box in this first half and his latest aerial threat comes from a whopping long free-kick from near the halfway line from Alan McCormack.

Oliver wins the ball with ease and heads into the centre of the box as Cheltenham scramble to clear it away.

Sean Long puts a superb cross in across the face of the Northampton goal but none of his teammates can quite work on to it.

The hosts win a corner soon after but it's a tame effort and the visitors win possession back.

It's been an entertaining half, this. Keith Curle's side will be the happier as we approach the break.

Alan McCormack tries to thump a right-footed super strike home to double Northampton's lead and get them back on level pegging.

However his effort smacks off the back of the stand behind the goal.

Alfie May does well to find space in the Northampton box and work on to Ryan Broom's delivery but he's flagged offside.

Soon after Jonte Smith picks up possession on the 18-yard line but he floats an effort just wide of the mark.
