    Exeter 1-0 Colchester (agg 1-1)

Ryan Jackson sprints forward for Colchester and puts in a low ball which is pushed into the danger area by Jonny Maxted.

Fortunately for the Exeter keeper it fell to team-mate Archie Collins, who cleared.

Neither goalkeeper has looked particularly convincing so far.

    Exeter 1-0 Colchester (agg 1-1)

Exeter keep getting in down the right and so far the delivery has been pretty good.

This time it's Archie Collins who crosses for Alex Fisher, but his nod down doesn't find a red shirt.

    Exeter 1-0 Colchester (agg 1-1)

    Exeter have their tails up.

Alex Fisher goes down in the box under a challenge and makes a half-hearted appeal for a penalty but there was nothing in that.

Colchester need to ride out this tricky period.

At the third time of asking Exeter score and the tie is level!

Colchester fail to clear a free-kick and after seeing one shot saved and another blocked, the ball falls to Aaron Martin to fire in.

An unlikely source of a goal but the hosts are right back in this.

    Exeter 0-0 Colchester (agg 0-1)

Colchester threaten for the first time.

Frank Nouble goes down the right and pulls the ball back for Luke Gambin, who is under pressure from Randell Williams as his effort goes harmlessly wide.

  6. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Colchester (agg 0-1)

Exeter failed to register a single shot on target in the first leg, the first time they had failed to attempt a shot on target in a League Two match this season.

Boss Matt Taylor already seems to have them a bit more fired up for this second leg.

Colchester, meanwhile, are just starting to settle and are knocking the ball around a bit.

  7. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Colchester (agg 0-1)

Alex Fisher gets a decent ball into the box for Exeter but striker partner Ryan Bowman is up against two Colchester defenders and can't quite get his head to it.

Already a vaguely promising start to the tie.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Exeter 0-0 Colchester (agg 0-1)

The referee Charles Breakspear blows his whistle and like in the first leg, all the players and officials take a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

We're now under way in the first of our semi-final second legs.

Exeter v Colchester (0-1 on agg, 17:15 BST)

Here come the players - first Colchester walk out in their changed white away strip - with home side following shortly afterwards, to respect social distancing rules.

The sun is shining, there's a nice Devon breeze and the pitch looks as nice as you'd hope it would be after a few months off.

    We're almost ready to go...

There's a change in goal for Exeter, who make four changes from their first-leg defeat, with Jonny Maxted replacing Lewis Ward between the posts.

Alex Fisher, Jayden Richardson and Archie Collins also come in.

Colchester boss John McGreal makes just one change - Malta winger Luke Gambin in for Courtney Senior.

Exeter: Maxted, Sweeney, Martin, Law, Williams, Bowman, Fisher, Richardson, Moxey, Taylor, Collins.

Colchester: Gerken, Jackson, Bramall, Prosser, Pell, Norris, Eastman, Stevenson, Gambin, Nouble, Poku.

Thursday's first leg between the two sides wasn't a classic, with plenty of cobwebs to shake off in an empty stadium 'atmosphere' that most are still getting used to.

Cohen Bramall's whipped free-kick proved the difference for Colchester in the first EFL game since the Covid-19 suspension in March - though many felt Lewis Ward in the Exeter goal might have done better.

Exeter do have home advantage for the second leg and will be desperate to go all the way this season after losing two play-off finals in the past three seasons.

After the fanfare of Thursday's first legs - signalling the long-awaited return of the EFL - tonight it's strictly business.

The players have had one game to become accustomed to their new surroundings, but there are no second chances this time.

Wembley awaits two of our semi-finalists, while for the losers it's season over.
