  1. 'Hopefully Hammers keep Moyes'published at 18:16 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    West Ham 0-0 Burnley

Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think David Moyes will keep West Ham up and hopefully they keep him on next season and he can start moving the club forward.

A club the size of West Ham have to have a settled manager. With the fanbase they have they should be much higher up in the league and not fighting relegation.

Tomas Soucek gets across Kevin Long and flicks a header goalwards but it is over the bar. Soucek is looking like West Ham's man dangerman at the moment.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Not much going on. No chances yet. Wolves have seen as much of the ball but the majority of it has been in their half.

Matt Doherty tries to change that and wins a throw-in up the other end.

Manchester City putting on a show here as they carve open Newcastle again but this time Riyad Mahrez can't find a way past Martin Dubravka.

Could be a long evening for the visitors.

Lovely move by Burnley down the left as Jay Rodriguez and Charlie Taylor combine before the latter cuts the ball back for Erik Pieters, who rushes his shot and lashes over.

Two seasons ago in this fixture, Man City's main striker scored a hattrick. Hoping for the same again. Come on Jesus! (Nothing to do with none of my fantasy football rivals having him in their teams of course...)

A corner from the right is aimed at Billy Sharp but Willy Boly gets there first and heads it up into the air.

There's a bit of a scramble to get it out before a cross from the left is booted away.

    His drought is over!

    Perfect start for City.

Ben Osborn can't get past Willy Boly but he drills a cross in from the left and it's cleared by Conor Coady.

Sander Berge then manages to keep the ball in on the far side, beats Joao Moutinho but his pass is skewed.

Josh Verrills: For the first time in his current reign, Moyes chooses a starting line up that West Ham fans would themselves have chosen. A win against Burnley tonight will all but secure PL survival given Aston Villa and Bournemouth’s lack of form and remaining fixtures

    West Ham 0-0 Burnley

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's no pressure on Burnley, they can go and play with freedom.

This is a free hit for them, so go and express yourself. That's what Sean Dyche will be hoping for.

It's a huge game for West Ham, though.

  20. 'Has Dyche taken Burnley as far as he can?'published at 18:02 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    West Ham 0-0 Burnley

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sean Dyche is a superb manager. There are question marks, there have been clashes with the board about money and contracts and it may be time for a change for Dyche.

Burnley fans won't want to hear that but he may have taken them as far as he can.

Burnley are another team overachieving but it's all down to Sean Dyche. Every player there wants to play for Burnley and it will be a struggle to keep hold of him in the summer.
