  4. 'Fixtures schedule is not correct'published at 16:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

West Ham v Burnley (18:00 BST)

West Ham manager David Moyes says it is "not correct" his team are playing Premier League games so close together.

The Hammers are in the midst of a run of three matches in seven days.

"For us to be put in a period of three games in six days [seven], which arguably are three of our most important games, is not correct," said Moyes.

"I don't agree with the Premier League and how they've done that."

  5. Haller a doubt, Anderson outpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

West Ham v Burnley (18:00 BST)

West Ham are assessing record signing Sebastien Haller after he returned to training following a hip injury.

Felipe Anderson is out once again with a hamstring injury, while Robert Snodgrass is expected to miss the rest of the season with a back problem.

Burnley are again without Ben Mee and Jack Cork because of respective thigh and ankle injuries, with the pair set to be out for the rest of season.

Matt Lowton and Ashley Barnes remain long-term absentees.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder faces a "big decision" whether to pick Jack O'Connell or Jack Robinson at centre-back.

O'Connell made his return from injury as a second-half substitute - replacing Robinson - against Burnley on Sunday.

Wolves forward Pedro Neto will be assessed after picking up a knock against Arsenal last time out.

Daniel Podence will be available after a period of self-isolation following a trip to Portugal.

  7. Injury issues for Newcastlepublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

Man City v Newcastle (18:00 BST)

Manchester City have no fresh injury worries.

Gabriel Jesus may again deputise for the injured Sergio Aguero, with manager Pep Guardiola insisting the Brazilian produced "one of his best performances of this season" against Southampton.

Newcastle have a number of new injury issues with Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin both doubts.

Andy Carroll and Jamaal Lascelles are also potential absentees with respective groin and ankle problems.

  8. 'Jesus good, but not as good as Aguero'published at 16:40 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is good, but he's not as good as Sergio Aguero.

Of the two, Jesus is probably better player outside the box but the Argentina striker might have made the difference for City in Sunday's defeat by Southampton because he is so deadly in front of goal.

City desperately need Aguero to be back fit if they are to go all the way in the Champions League this season, because there is just no comparison between him and Jesus when it comes to guile and finishing.

I don't think it will matter too much against Newcastle, mind. City will create a lot of chances, like they did against Saints and I don't see Steve Bruce's side keeping them out.

    Prediction: 3-0

  11. Consistency key for City?published at 16:28 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

The title battle may be over but the season is far from complete for Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola's side could still end the campaign with what would be a hugely impressive treble by adding the FA Cup and Champions League trophies to their League Cup success.

But consistency - or lack of - has arguably been City's downfall in the Premier League this season, and it is something they will need to rediscover if they are to truly challenge for additional silverware this season.

After losing to Southampton last-time out, can they kick-start a strong run of results by seeing off a Newcastle side they triumphed over just a couple of weeks ago?
