  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Richairo Zivkovic is on for his home debut, replacing Billy Sharp. He'll join Lys Moussett up front for Sheffield United.

  2. Postpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Raul Jimenez plays it on to Diogo Jota on the edge of the box. He tries to dance his way past Chris Basham but is just shoved off the ball with ease.

There's a few faint appeals from Jimenez for a foul, but even Jota is smiling as he runs back into position.

  3. Postpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    West Ham 0-1 Burnley

Drinks break at West Ham and Hammers boss David Moyes grasps the chance for a quick tactical chat with his players. They've got 20 minutes to find a goal which, at the moment, is looking unlikely.

  4. 'The Spanish Foden'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Man City 4-0 Newcastle

David Silva is up there as one of the best footballers I've ever seen. I reckon Gary Rose isn't too far off though. (Emma)

  6. Postpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

George Baldock does well to retain possession near the touchline and he start a cycle of passing across the midfield.

In the end, it's his through ball which is cut out and Wolves will try to create something through Adama Traore on the right before the drinks break.

Josh: No matter who you support, David Silva will be greatly missed in the Premier League! Magician

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Man City 4-0 Newcastle

Dwight Gayle, Matty Longstaff and Javier Manquillo are on now for Newcastle, replacing Joelinton, Valentino Lazaro and Jonjo Shelvey.

Nothing more than a bit of a run out for them really, though. Newcastle have not been in this at all.

Re 19:14 - On the other hand, City have won 10 more games than Sheffield Utd and scored 50 more goals so it clearly hasn't been all bad

  10. Postpublished at 19:23 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Sander Berge seems to move in slow motion as it's crossed in from the right. He just needs to take it under control and he's got a shot at goal. It was like watching my dad at 5-aside. Gave up after stretching too far.

Adama Traore then sets Wolves on their way on the break, getting fouled by Enda Stevens in the process (he gets a yellow for it afterwards), but the cross is eventually too high for Diogo Jota.

  11. goal

GOAL - Man City 4-0 Newcastlepublished at 19:23 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    David Silva (64 mins)

    What a strike!

Raheem Sterling is fouled just outside the D and Manchester City have a free kick. David Silva fancies it and rightly so as he curls the ball over the wall and into the back of the net. Martin Dubravka didn't even move.

You get the feeling City are not done yet, either.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    West Ham 0-1 Burnley

Sebastien Haller is on now for West Ham, replacing Andriy Yarmolenko, and almost immediately equalises with his first touch but his stabbed effort is turned behind by Nick Pope.

What an impact that would have been.

  13. Postpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Conor Coady thumps a long ball straight out for a goal kick.

    Hmmm.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Man City 3-0 Newcastle

Double change for Manchester City as Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva come on, replacing Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden.

Not a bad couple of substitutes to be able to bring on!

  15. CLOSE!published at 19:19 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

    I almost got the goal!

Enda Stevens plays a brilliant ball across the face of the six-yard box and it's inches away from Billy Sharp's toe.

A yard or two more and that's a goal. It was a tap-in.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    West Ham 0-1 Burnley

A change for Burnley as they mix things up in attack. Matej Vydra makes way for Chris Wood. West Ham have looked vulnerable to balls into the box and that could suit Wood.

  18. goal

GOAL - Man City 3-0 Newcastlepublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Federico Fernández OG (58 mins)

Sorry Emma, but more goals for Gary!

It is unfortunate for Federico Fernández as Gabriel Jesus drives into the box but his shot deflects off both Matt Ritchie and Fernandez and ends up in the back of the net.

In truth, a three-goal lead is no less than Manchester City deserve.

  19. Postpublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 8 July 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Wolves

Willy Boly has had a good game for Wolves. Pressure has been increasing a little from Sheffield United in the last few minutes and another cross from the left has to be dealt with.
