Stefan Johansen has been excellent. In the first half, he was running the show and similarly in the second half. He showed his quality with the long passes and showed in the second half he can be just as good under a little pressure.

  4. Too fast, too strong and too goodpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 7 September 2020

    Northern Ireland 1-5 Norway

    Mark Sterling
BBC Sport NI at Windsor Park

Ian Baraclough made a positive substitution when he brought Liam Boyce on for Daniel Ballard at half-time and went to a 3-5-2 formation.

It may have seemed a like a bold move but it has not worked at all. As was the case in the first half, Norway have rocked NI with two quick goals and they look like they could score at will.

Baraclough is in deep discussion with assistant Damian Johnson on the touchline and you wonder what they could be thinking.

They'll have to try something to get back in the match, but they also need to make sure they don't concede too many more.

A sorry night for the home side probably can't end soon enough.

20 in 20 in 2020 would have a nice ring to it.

  13. Postpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 7 September 2020

That's 19 goals in 20 games for club and country in 2020 for Erling Haaland.

  14. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 7 September 2020

    Northern Ireland 1-5 Norway

I genuinely can't remember Northern Ireland getting pumped like this too many times in the Michael O'Neill era. Especially not at home to a fairly middling side.

  15. Postpublished at 60 mins

Norway look for number six but Alexander Sorloth heads over the bar.

Will Sorloth or Erling Haaland get a hat-trick?

We talk about the fact Erling Haaland's big, strong, he looks fit, he's got pace... But to add to that, he has that finishing. He's top drawer. No doubt about it.

The pace he puts on it! No keeper in the world is stopping that.

GOAL - Northern Ireland 1-5 Norwaypublished at 58 mins

    Erling Haaland

    Hmmmm.

It's another world-class finish from Erling Haaland. He's a remarkable talent.

Alexander Sorloth plays the ball forward and Omar Elabdellaoui heads it into the path of the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Haaland curls a sweet first-time effort from the edge of the box into the corner of the net. Perfect hit.

    Quote Message

It's got all the feeling of a pre-season game where the players are so far off the pace, but you have to be impressed with the efforts of Norway while they're 4-1 up. When you've got someone as good as Haaland up front, it gives you the foundation to build something really big. You can see the Northern Irish players getting frustrated now.
