Also in action tonight - and much more evenly poised than the Bayern Munich-Chelsea tie - are Barcelona and Napoli.

The team news is dropping for both fixtures so let's find out who's in and who's out.

Bayern Munich are overwhelming favourites to progress tonight after winning the first leg back in February 3-0 but the Champions League has been known to throw up a few incredible comebacks over the years.

There were two just last season as Liverpool fought back from a 3-0 first-leg deficit to defeat tournament favourites Barcelona on an incredible night of drama at Anfield in May 2019.

And a day later, Lucas Moura completed his hat-trick in the sixth minute of stoppage time as Tottenham fought from 2-0 down on the night and 3-0 on aggregate to overcome Ajax on their own patch.

Could we see an English side pull off the unexpected once again?

  6. Chelsea looking to upset the odds againpublished at 18:43 British Summer Time 8 August 2020

A fixture against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena will bring back some pretty special memories for Chelsea.

It was back in 2012 when the Blues last travelled to the stadium and stunned the German giants to win their first, and so far only, Champions League title.

Few perhaps gave Chelsea chance of victory on that occasion and they will need to defy the odds once again tonight if they are keep their most recent Champions League hopes alive.
