They've had a couple of half chances but Lyon are frustarting them and they carry that threat of their own down the sides and with balls over the top.
They have to change the system. They have to get one, if not two, substitutes on at half time.

Abid: This formation definitely isn't working. City play well when they have width but with no Mahrez or Bernardo Silva on there is absolutely nothing happening on the right wing and Walker hasn't driven forward enough. They need one more attacking player on.
John McMahon: Lyon are doing to Man City exactly what Arsenal did in the FA Cup semi-final, with the back 5 and harrying, deep-but-fast-breaking midfield. Their goal even came through an over-the-top ball down that same inside-left channel.

Michael Reid: Fernandinho is really quickly became City's week link (no fault of his own; being played out of position). Just don't get why a team with a blank checkbook can be so vulnerable at the back.
