Josh Mullin takes out goalkeeper to find fellow County substitute Michael Gardyne but the visitors cannot capitalise on Hamilton being at sixes and sevens as Shaun Want gets in an important interception.

Marvin Bartley is booked for a studs-on-shin challenge on his former Hibs team-mate Paul Hanlon. The Livi midfielder takes a clatter too and takes a long time to get to his feet, while Hanlon writhes in agony. When he gets to his feet, Bartley receives a yellow card from referee Euan Anderson.

Almost the opening goal as Ross County mount an attack from left to right and Ross Stewart slams a shot against the near post.

Billy Mckay's half-volley is deflected out for a Ross County corner.

Chances have dried up a bit in the South Lanarkshire sunshine after a lively first 45 minutes.

Oh dear. Martin Boyle could have put the game to bed if he had shown a bit more composure there. Finding himself with time on the right side of the Livi box to pick his spot, he scuffs his shot and the only thing to spare his blushes is a deflection for a corner kick.

No messing about from Livi boss Gary Holt. He sends on Alan Forrest and Matej Poplatnik for Craig Sibbald and Nicky Devlin for the second half. And straight from kick-off Scott Pittman gets into the Hibs box and lashes a shot at goal. Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano gets down quickly to collect.

Just moments later Ricki Lamie lobs a lovely cross into the United box and finds Tony Watt, but the striker is stretching and Benjamin Siegrist gathers the ball with ease at his near post.
