    Quote Message

If there are any more breaches, I think it will be the end of Scottish football for quite some time. I know the mentality of footballers, but this has blown me away

  2. Managers & captains to meet with Prof Leitchpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 8 August 2020

    Hamilton v Ross County (15:00)

Brian Rice has told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound there will be a virtual meeting of managers and captains following the situation at Aberdeen, who have eight players isolating after two returned positive results for Covid-19.

Today's St Johnstone v Aberdeen match was postponed as a result.

"I believe there is a Zoom on Monday night," Rice said before today's home game with Ross County. "I believe it's with Professor Jason Leitch (national clinical director), I don't know if the first minister will be on or not.

"All managers and captains have been asked to be present at it.

"We've been desperate to get football back. Let's get back to the football."

  3. Raising awareness of the missingpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 8 August 2020

    Motherwell v Dundee United (15:00)

Many teams have filled their grounds with cardboard cut-outs and Fir Park is no exception. As well as that, 1190 blanked-out silhouettes will take their place in Motherwell's south stand to raise awareness for those missing from home.

The figures will remain in place until fans return to grounds later this season.

  7. And then there were three...published at 14:00 British Summer Time 8 August 2020

Good afternoon. We should be approaching the final stages of St Johnstone v Aberdeen but today's early kick-off was kiboshed when a group of Dons players decided it would be a good idea to venture into a busy city centre bar last Saturday night...

While that is a worry and a big disappointment, the rest of the weekend's fixtures go ahead as planned, so stay with us as the action unfolds in the Scottish Premiership.
