  2. CLOSE!published at 16:31 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

What a chance for the visitors!

Luke Bolton is played behind the County backline and the winger's pace gets him to the ball before Ross Laidlaw.

But, rather than taking the ball round the goalkeeper, Bolton almost slide tackles the ball and it agonisingly rolls just past the far post.

    Huge let off for County!

  3. Killie hand back the initiativepublished at 16:30 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at BBSP Stadium

Kilmarnock deserve to be ahead, but the minute they got there, they handed St Johnstone a real lifeline.

Ross Millen's decision to recklessly dive in on Scott Tanser earned a straight red card and he could have few complaints.

That just minutes after the visitors gifted Kilmarnock the opener when Rooney switched off, let Mitch Pinnock nip in and Aaron Tshibola did the rest.

Alex Dyer will be fuming if they let this slip having been the better side overall.

  4. Hendry heads widepublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone substitute David Wotherspoon, on for Shaun Rooney, crosses for Callum Hendry, who beats his marker to get his head to the ball.

However, the striker sends it wide of the Killie goal.

Jim Goodwin getting right in about his players from the touchline here with Accies now applying sustained pressure

  6. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

It's been more of the same so far in the second half in terms of the intensity, but County are on top at the moment.

Can they restore their lead? A win would take the Highlanders to the top of the league!

  7. What was he thinking?published at 16:23 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

    Jon Daly
Former Hearts forward and coach on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

He had a poor touch and went in with his studs and there was no complaints from Ross Millen. It is a poor decision to go in at that pace with his studs up when there is no danger in front of the dugouts

  8. RED CARD Millen (Kilmarnock)published at 16:23 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

It's crazy stuff from Ross Millen as the Killie full-back takes a heavy touch out on the right touchline and goes in to a tackle with his studs showing.

Referee Andrew Dallas sends him packing and the young defender holds an apologetic hand up and trudges up the tunnel, head bowed.

So soon after his side took the lead as well.

  9. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Aaron Tshibola

    Goal

Shaun Rooney won't be watching Sportscene this weekend, one suspects. The big Saints defender doesn't see Mitchell Pinnock running on his blindside on to Kirk Broadfoot's speculative long ball.

Was that a pass or poor control? Whatever it is, Pinnock finds Aaron Tshibola and the former Aston Villa midfileder finishes with ease. For once, goalkeeper Elliot Parish had no chance.

  10. Rogers to the rescuepublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

It's St Johnstone's turn to shine as Callum Hendry pirouettes and lashes a shot at the Killie goal. Just as he did from Hendry's free-kick, goalkeeper Danny Rogers uses his legs again to make the save.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:17 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

Another chance goes a begging for the hosts.

A lovely bit work by Lee Erwin on the right as the former Motherwell man dances his way into the box before setting up Harry Paton, but the midfielder blasts over the bar.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

It's hotting up at Rugby Park. Killie centre-half Stuart Findlay is given far too much time to advance and is almost in a new postcode by the time he meets any opposition.

When the ball comes to Nicke Kabamba, the striker works it on to his right foot and cracks a shot on target, but Elliot Parish makes another good save.

  13. Improved Acciespublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Mirren

Marios Ogkmpoe is on for Hamilton up front and the hosts have a bit more about them in this second half.

Andrew Winter is fouled right on the edge of the St Mirren box - another inch or two and it would have been penalty - but David Templeton slips as he takes a shot, curving the ball wide.

  14. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

County get away with one as the hosts are dispossessed just outside their own area, but United can't capitalise on the error and fail to create anything out of it.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:11 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

It's a rare effort on target for St Johnstone at Rugby Park.

Kilmarnock goalkeeper Danny Rogers saves well with his legs as Callum Hendry's free-kick from 20 yards is deflected by the edge of a rather porous-looking defensive wall.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:07 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Mirren

Scott McMann centres for former Hearts midfielder Ross Callachan to send another effort wide of the St Mirren goal.

  17. Kabamba goes closepublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

In the first chance of the second half, Chris Burke - who else? - arches a cross from the right wing to the middle of the Saints penalty box.

Nicke Kabamba gets in front of his marker the way that good strikers somehow always do, but his volley is a couple of feet too high.

  18. Change of formation for visitorspublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

    Jon Daly
Former Hearts forward and coach on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

It looks like St Johnstone have tweaked their formation and have stuck with three at the back but gone for 3-4-3

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:03 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Mirren

Much better from Hamilton as they press on the right and switch play for midfielder Ross Callachan to fire in a shot that goalkeeper Jak Alnwick tips over.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

We're off again....let's hope for a few more goals.
