  1. Hibs players 'feeling good about themselves'published at 17:17 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hibernian v Motherwell (17:30)

Hibernian head coach Jack Ross is full of confidence ahead of his side facing Motherwell.

"The team that has started the last couple of games has given us a good platform to win, so it's the right system to go with again today," he tells Sportsound.

"Confidence is huge in football and, when players have that winning habit, they feel good about themselves.

"There is always optimism you can have a good season, but it doesn't always work out that way. Twelve points out of 12 would be a terrific start for us."

  3. The table as it stands...published at 17:11 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Premiership table

Ross County's first defeat of the season means the Dingwall side miss out on going top at least for a couple of hours before the game at Easter Road.

Visitors Dundee United draw level with them on seven points.

The table is a pleasing sight for St Mirren, their win at Hamilton putting six points between them and hosts who they will see as rivals for relegation.

Accies have now lost three in a row and the warning signs are there already.

  4. O'Donnell makes Motherwell debutpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

Hibs, seeking to extend their perfect start with a fourth straight win, go with the "if it ain't broke, why fix it?" approach as they field the same line-up from Tuesday night's 1-0 win at Dundee United.

Motherwell secured their first point of the campaign on Wednesday at home to Livingston, but it didn't spare them from the wrath of manager Stephen Robinson.

He makes two changes, with Scotland international Stephen O'Donnell straight in for his debut at right-back in place of Liam Grimshaw.

Callum Lang, back from suspension after his red card on the opening day, starts up top as Christopher Long drops out.

  6. Unbeaten Hibs face ailing Wellpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hibernian v Motherwell (17:30)

We've still got the game at Easter Road to come and the mood could not be different between the two camps going head-to-head there.

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson had a go at some of his players in midweek, suggesting his side had been "playing with seven men" in an opening three games in which they have gathered just one point. Maybe he should start picking 11 of them!

Seriously, though, he cannot afford any passengers for today's trip to face a team who have won their opening three top-flight games for the first time since season 1999-00.

Especially so considering Motherwell are without a win at Easter Road in six visits since a 1-0 win in August 2013 - and have lost four in a row.

  8. FULL-TIME Kilmarnock 1-2 St Johnstonepublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer is usually a laid-back guy, but that will be tested after that late collapse just when it looked like they were going to record a first victory of the season.

Aaron Tshibola had given his side a deserved lead, but Ross Millen was needlessly sent off for a silly late challenge and St Johnstone take full advantage to secure their own first win.

David Wotherspoon equalised and, in stoppage time, Michael O'Halloran took advantage of defensive error to score a winner.

  9. FULL-TIME Ross County 1-2 Dundee Unitedpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

Well what a frantic contest that was.

After an end-to-end first half in which Peter Pawlett cancelled out Coll Donaldson's sweetly taken half volley, it was more of the same in the second.

Both sides squandered big chances before substitute Nicky Clark slotted home the winner with just over 10 minutes left.

Another huge win on the road for Micky Mellon has brought County's unbeaten start to the season to an end.

GOAL Kilmarnock 1-2 St Johnstonepublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Michael O'Halloran

    Goal

This game has turned completely around and it is a self-inflicted wound for Kilmarnock.

Ross Millen was sent off when they were 1-0 and then they go lose two goals in the final five minutes.

The winner comes after a poor pass back from Stuart Findlay that is intercepted by Michael O'Halloran and the striker rounds the goalkeeper to score.

  11. FULL-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

St Mirren win 1-0 in the league for the second time this season while it's a third defeat out of three for Hamilton.

Jon Obika's first-half goal was the difference between the two sides.

  12. Nearing full-timepublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

We are heading into stoppage time.

Looks like Ross County are missing the chance to go top of the table, while Hamilton are staying at the bottom and Kilmarnock and St Johnstone will continue their wait for a first league win of the season.

It is a measure of how St Johnstone feel about this that, as soon as that ball went into the net, David Wotherspoon was grabbing it and heading back to the halfway line. They obviously fancy their chances of winning this against the 10 men

  14. goal

GOAL Kilmarnock 1-1 St Johnstonepublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    David Wotherspoon

    Goal

It's a sickener for Alex Dyer and his 10-man Kilmarnock team as Liam Craig's cutback is slotted home by David Wotherspoon with five minutes of regulation time remaining.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:42 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

David Wotherspoon passes to Callum Booth and he sets up St Johnstone's lively striker Callum Hendry in the box.

His first touch does nothing to tame the ball, but his sharpness makes up for it as he swivels on his right foot and shoots with his left.

However, the ball flies a yard past goalkeeper Danny Rogers' right-hand post.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:37 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Mirren

Justin Johnson twists and turns on the right-hand side before sending in a teasing centre that drifts wide of St Mirren goalkeeper Jak Alnwick's right-hand post.

  17. goal

GOAL Ross County 1-2 Dundee Unitedpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Nicky Clark

    Goal

The visitors have turned it around!

Just minutes after coming on as a substitute, Nicky Clark puts the away side ahead.

It's lovely build-up from the visitors on the edge of the area before the former Rangers man is slipped in and finishes superbly from close range back across the goalkeeper.

Amazingly, that's the long-serving striker's first goal from open play in the Scottish top flight having found the net already from the penalty spot.

Scott McMann is unable to beat goalkeeper Jak Alnwick as Hamilton press for parity and St Mirren go quickly to the other end with substitute Ilkay Durmus drawing a save from Ryan Fulton.

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:35 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ross County 1-1 Dundee United

Ross Stewart could have had a hat-trick today.

After more fantastic work from Lee Erwin, the County number 10 slips through a delightful pass to Stewart, but the striker's close-range finish drags just wide of the post.

Again, he's got to do better!
