  1. Rangers to go top or Livi for first win?published at 19:58 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

That's all for your Saturday evening thrills from me, although don't forget that Sportscene is still running the highlights on BBC Scotland right now.

Join us again tomorrow, when Rangers have the chance to return to the top and go two points clear away to Livingston.

Their hosts, meanwhile, are seeking a first victory of the season that would leave Hamilton increasingly isolated down there already.

  2. How does the table look?published at 19:54 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Table

Hibs remain unbeaten and go top of the Premiership by a point, but they could be down to second again if Rangers draw or win away to Livingston tomorrow.

Worrying times for Hamilton, who are stuck at the bottom without a point after a third consecutive defeat - and at home to a side they would expect to be scrapping with to avoid relegation.

I think David Turnbull will be sold by the time this transfer window closes. If there are scouts watching that game with a trained eye, they will see he is a football player considering he's been out for so long through injury. His endurance was good, his fitness levels and he plays nice passes. Nice to see him back after that terrible episode with the transfer to Celtic

  4. Today's resultspublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Results

They might have just edged it on the balance of play, but Motherwell just fell short of making it a full house of away wins in today's Premiership games.

Dundee United, St Mirren and St Johnstone are the happiest sides today.

  5. Well 'will finish above Hibs'published at 19:40 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    FT: Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

    John Collins
    Former Hibs manager on Sportsound

    Quote Message

I would describe Hibs as a long-ball team. From Motherwell's point of view, playing some really good football through midfield as often as they can but lack a centre-forward or wide player with cutting edge. Hibs, I would expect more from, but if I was a betting man I would expect this Motherwell team to finish above them

  6. Robinson 'got a reaction'published at 19:37 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Quote Message

Motherwell were good in spells - much better than Hibs, more shots, more corners, more possession, more passes. Stephen Robinson's clearly got a reaction from a poor performance in midweek

  8. FULL-TIME Hibernian 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

Hibs go top of the Premiership, a point ahead of Rangers, but head coach Jack Ross will probably be disappointed with their display as they looked to win their opening four games of a top flight season for the first time since season 1974-75.

Motherwell are still looking for their first win but at least responded to manager Stephen Robinson's harsh words and had the better of the play.

The visitors had the best of what few chances were created, with goalkeeper Ofir Marciano doing well to save from Callum Lang and having a goal from Jordan White disallowed.

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Motherwell striker Tony Watt has a sight of goal, but his low drive is straight at goalkeeper Ofir Marciano.

  10. Postpublished at 90+4

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Neither side looks capable of that extra bit of effort required to make the breakthrough.

  11. Postpublished at 90mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Five additional minutes of stoppage time. Where have those come from?

Can we get a goal at last?

  12. O'Donnell off, Grimshaw onpublished at 89mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Both sides are looking exhausted out there and new Well signing Stephen O'Donnell is down for more treatment.

On comes Liam Grimshaw to replace the limping Scotland right-back.

  13. Postpublished at 83mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Hibs continue to struggle with creating chances and, when Martin Boyle does manage a cross into the box, Christian Doidge's tired attempt at an overhead kick curls well wide.

  14. Postpublished at 81mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Allan Campbell whips a dangerous cross into the penalty box, but Hibs manage to clear at the back post with no Well player attacking the ball.

  15. Stevenson on for Doigpublished at 79mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Hibs do make another change, but it is 18-year-old Josh Doig, who has been excellent at left-back but is maybe running out of steam, being replaced with veteran Lewis Stevenson.

  16. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 78mins

Hibs' Melker Hallberg is down nursing a leg injury. Could the substitute be subbed?

  17. Double Well changepublished at 73mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Well boss Stephen Robinson changes both his strikers, with Chris Long and Tony Watt coming on to replace Callum Lang and Jordan White.

Very cynical from Campbell, but he had to do it as Hibs were breaking forward with a two on one

  19. YELLOW CARD Campbell (Motherwell)published at 70mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Well midfielder Allan Campbell goes straight into the referee's book after a pull at Melker Hallberg's shirt after slipping as the Swede looked to break towards the penalty box.

  20. Postpublished at 67mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Hibs have not created much so far during the second half and are not making the most of what few chances that are falling their way.

A cross from Kevin Nisbet flicks off the head of defender Declan Gallagher and loops into the path of Martin Boyle at the back post.

However, the Australia winger makes a mess of his attempted volley and it bobbles wide.
