What Chris Wilder has done is obviously told John Lundstram to break some lines and he's just done that. Wonderful effort . Very unlucky for Sheffield United!

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 52 mins

    Sheffield United 0-2 Wolves

So unlucky! The best moment yet for the hosts as John Lundstram finds John Fleck and the former Rangers man scuds a shot against the base of the post.

George Baldock's follow-up is turned away by a Wolves boot.

    Almost!

  3. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Sheffield United 0-2 Wolves

It's been a scrappy start woth some fouls on both sides as Mike Dean tries to get hold of the game.

"IT'S NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY!' bellows someone from the sidelines. Nots ure who or what, but I enjoyed that. Oli Norwood's ball in is unusually rank though.

    Brighton v Chelsea (20:15 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender

If he stays fit, Adam Lallana will give Brighton something a bit different in midfield - he is a very clever player.

We already know the Seagulls are solid at the back and I look at them as being capable of finishing top of the bottom eight - or out of trouble in other words.

This is a tricky opener for them, though. Chelsea's new signings will take a little bit of time to gel, but you just know they are going to have a good season because they have so many good players.

    Prediction: 0-2

Steve James: I said this before but you really need to see Adama Traore’s pace ‘live’ to appreciate just how fast the guy is, gets you out of your seat.

Only once have Sheffield United recovered from a two goal deficit against Wolverhampton. Back in December 1971 Wolves led by 2-0 at half time. After half-time, Tony Currie and Alan Woodward netted for United in a 2-2 draw.

    HT: Sheffield United 0-2 Wolves

    Michael Brown
Former Sheff Utd and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was about the start, the quality and being able to capitalise on that space. Raul Jimenez had that wonderful finish into the top corner. Wolves set the tone with that very early. Sheffield United have improved but in regards to opportunities, it was only the one and that will be something that Chris Wilder will address.

  14. Postpublished at 18:49 British Summer Time 14 September 2020

    Sheffield United 0-2 Wolves

That was a shocker of a start for Sheffield United. They grew into the half and got better but they still only had one effort on target.

    I'd expect changes.

United have got to find an angle. There seems to be no room. This Wolves side are very well drilled. There are no gaps and Sheffield United are finding it tough to do anything with the ball.

It surprises me that Wolves let Matt Doherty go at that level but you have to respect the player's wishes as well. We don't know the whole story. It's a difficult one. They have to move on but they will be looking to strengthen. It's been a good start for Wolves so far though!

  19. Postpublished at 42 mins

A wave of pressure but nothing concrete to come from it. Wolves still sitting pretty.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 40 mins

It was Oli McBurnie who had that header - and he's now booked for catching, you guessed it, Raul Jimenez.
