    Harry Kane

    Deserved.

Son Heung-min has three players around him on the right as he threatens to race away again.

He holds it up and it's eventually lifted over to the far side, where Erik Lamela is waiting in acres of space, completely unmarked.

He strikes it off the outside of the far post and Harry Kane is there to poke in the rebound.

Harry Kane is only the sixth player to assist four goals in a single Premier League game, and the first ever English player to do so. Kane only assisted two league goals in the entirety of last season.

Are we getting a Harry Kane-Son Heung-min fifth?

    Hit the thumbs.

Harry Kane does it again with a brilliant pass through to Giovani Lo Celso. He has space to run into but Jack Stephens comes across quickly to cover.

This is getting ridiculous now - a fourth goal for Tottenham, a fourth goal for Son and a fourth assist for Harry Kane and I think this was the best pass of the lot.

He's almost got his back turned to the Southampton penalty area, he has one little look over his shoulder and whips in the most fabulous cross right into the path of Son who chests it down and rifles it past McCarthy.

Since when did Harry Kane turn into Andrea Pirlo?

He's pinging the ball about in midfield. Four assists. That ball through to Erik Lamela was another worldie. He's just curled one over to the left with the outside of his boot.

    Show off!

Son Heung-min gets another chance minutes later but his effort is blocked. Erik Lamela tries to get on the end of the rebound but Kyle Walker-Peters gets a good touch on it.

Moments later, Harry Kane sends it long again but Alex McCarthy reacts to come charging out of his box to stop Lamela.

Son Heung-Min's hat-trick was only the fourth time a player has scored a Premier League hat-trick with one player assisting each goal (Harry Kane) - Newell to Shearer v Coventry, Sep 1995; Collymore to Fowler v Arsenal, Dec 1995; Henry to Ljungberg v Sunderland, May 2003

    Some pretty decent double-acts here!

    Son Heung-min

    This is getting ridiculous.

Harry Kane is the provider for a fourth time. He's running towards the touchline and he somehow whips in a perfect cross for Son Heung-min on the right.

The striker coolly chips it over the keeper.

Four goals, four assists and four pieces of defending Southampton won't want to watch again.

Or, Rhys' point, has a player ever scored in the first half after they've scored in the second half? (According to minutes). The impossible is possible.

Nice effort from substitute Nathan Tella. He finds the space outside the box and Danny Ings threads it through.

He takes a touch then drills it low towards the left post but it's always going wide.

Son Heung-min goes up the other end and makes the same run - in behind the back four - but this time, skews it well wide. He's let off by the offside flag.

    Son Heung-min is in again!

He could have had a fourth but Kyle Walker-Peters does so well to recover and nick it off him before he could shoot.

Southampton need to sort this high line out at the back. Son is having a field day!
