    West Ham 4-0 Wolves

    West Ham United

West Ham goalscorer Jarrod Bowen, speaking to Sky Sports: "Keeping a clean sheet was vital and scoring four goals was big.

"I prefer to come in on my left foot and thankfully the first goal went in the corner. For the potential hat-trick one I misread the ball and it came off their players knee. That is the only disappointment.

"It is big. First two games we wanted to get points. We weren't good enough against Newcastle and should have got something from Arsenal. We don't want to be three games without a win. To get a win is massive.

"Declan (Rice) is a great lad. Everyone wants him to stay but it is not for us players to comment on."

David Moyes' support staff tonight, every single one of them has done their job. They all stepped up to give encouragement and instructions from the sidelines. They all had their roles and responsibilities. They looked after the team tonight and you have to give David Moyes' backroom staff a lot of credit.

Arthur Masuaku puts in a great ball and Sébastien Haller is unopposed. He's got the height and all he does is uses the pace on the ball to head it down. The pace and accuracy of the header is too much for Patricio to keep it out.

West Ham are up and running in style. David Moyes wasn't here but his side sure showed up.

    And the cake is iced.

Sebastien Haller has only been on the pitch for a few minutes but he is perfectly placed to head Masuaku's cross past Rui Patricio.

Norm Gundersson: Fantastic performance from West Ham. Since the return from lockdown we’ve played well. Wing-back system works and plays to our strengths. Rice, Soucek, Antonio, Fornals & Bowen. The Moyes haters will be quiet tonight.

Last season Wolves were so defensively solid. It isn't like them to have conceded three goals again. You just hope if you are a Wolves fan that they do start to kick on again at some point.

Looks like poor Tomas Soucek is going to have his goal taken off him. It has been changed and will now go down as a Raul Jimenez own goal as a result of the deflection that took it into the net.

Don't think Soucek will mind too much. Not after such a handsome win.

Such a wonderful and quirky start to the Premier League season, but is it in fact being controlled by a 12-year-old playing an X-Box in a bedroom in Pudsey?

    Hugo, Peckham

That is very weird Hugo. Pudsey is my home town.

When you play the same shape as the opposition and you are matched up evenly you have got to win your individual battles. Wolves have not done that and have just been too slow in possession.

If I were the West Ham owners I'd allow David Moyes to work permanently from home...

    Mike, Birmingham

This is like the most expensive, lavish game of Football Manager ever played for Moyes. Presumably, if he'd lost he would have just turned off the computer without saving.
