    Leicester City

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy talking to Sky Sports: "We have set up to infuriate them and it has worked a treat. We knew if we stuck to our plan we would get some chances.

"I always want to improve. I am hoping I am doing that."

King of the understatement there, Jamie lad.

It wasn't exactly a Premier League debut to remember for Manchester City striker Liam Delap, but you'd still want to keep and frame the shirt, right?

Let’s not have too much bleating from the billionaire club. We were missing the injured Pereria and Ndidi, two of our most influential players. We were also playing with an 80% fit Jonny Evans and Maddison who was not fit enough to start the game!

    David, Leicester

Can anyone explain why Man City, being the richest club in the world, haven't spent millions this summer to buy the usual world class players, given the gap last season?

    Darren, Villa fan.

Three penalties in a game? I saw that happen at one of your old clubs, Chris! Andy Blair scored a hat-trick from the spot for Sheffield Wednesday in a League Cup tie against Luton in the 1984-85 season.

We've had 25 games so far this Premier League season. Three of them have finished 5-2. We've had two 4-3s and a 3-3.

    And not a single 0-0.

    That'll do, pig. That'll do.

When Man City come off the pace and play slow they don't look the same team. When you break against Manchester City with pace they have a problem and it has shown again today.

There is going to be a serious media post-mortem on Manchester City in the coming days.

So let's hold off on that right now and just doff a cap to Leicester. They played that game superbly, despite the early setback. They were determined and solid at the back and utterly ruthless in taking apart Man City's high line defence.

Vardy is currently speaking to the press, match ball in hand. Bet Gareth Southgate wishes he was still an option for England.

How refreshing is it that we've seen three penalties all given for things that actually look like they should be penalties. Thank you Man City for defending so atrociously that we've remembered what that looks like.

Manchester City have games like this when it is too slow and too predictable. Pep would have been thinking that, if you score two goals at home to Leicester you win the game. But I would say he needs another three or four good players to compete.
