I'd like to report some sort of final flurry of chances for Scotland, but I'm afraid it's been a tough watch.
Ryan Christie's first-half penalty was Scotland's only serious chance, as they hit the front before the break.
Israel were the better side in the second half, and Eran Zahavi's fantastic finish has earned them a deserved point.

Quote MessageThe Israelis have dominated the second half. They look a class act. We're way off the pace, we're way off getting anywhere close to them to make it difficult. They actually should be in the lead. It's quite worrying
Three minutes of stoppage time...
Scotland 1-1 Israel
Another decent opening for Scotland. Andy Robertson gets the ball down the left, cuts it back brilliantly for Ryan Christie, who takes a couple of touches and dinks the ball across goal, only for Ofir Marciano to dive and collect.
Christie might have been better shooting first time there...

Scotland 1-1 Israel
Ooft, Stuart Armstrong was in there but his touch was too heavy as he tried to bring the ball down, and Ofir Marciano races from his line to pounce on the ball.
It was a sloppy pass from an Israel defender that gave Armstrong the chance.
Scotland 1-1 Israel
Stuart Amrstrong grits his teeth in frustration after giving away a foul. Scotland are struggling to create anything at the moment.

Quote MessageIt's well worked from the throw-in. Good movement. Eran Zahavi finds himself free and he rockets into the net. Just rifled it into the top corner

Quote MessageThere were signs. Israel have been threatening at times in the second half. It looks like we were trying to get away with a 1-0

Scotland 1-1 Israel
Stuart Armstrong comes on for John McGinn.
Shon Weissman, who scored 30 goals for Wolfsberger in the Austrain Bundesliga, is on in place of Dabbur for Israel.
Scotland 1-1 Israel
Now, it's a test of character for Scotland. They haven't really shown anything in attack, and seemed happy to settle for 1-0.
That plan is out of the window, so how will they respond?
Scotland 1-1 Israel
Meanwhile, Lyndon Dykes is off and Oliver Burke comes on in his place up top.
Eran Zahavi
Nightmare.
That is a lovely goal, to be fair. Eran Zahavi and Moanes Dabbur exchange a lovely one two, and the former slams into the top corner on the volley.
That's 13 goals in his last 13 internationals for Zahavi. Clinical.
Scotland 1-0 Israel
Ooft, that was incredibly close for Israel. Dasa whips in a superb cross to the near post, which is missed by the Scotland defence and, fortunately, Moanes Dabbur as well.

Quote MessageIt looks like Scotland are happy with the one goal. They're looking confident enough that they can see this one through.
Scotland 1-0 Israel
A couple of corners from Israel pass without major incident.
Kieran Tierney wins a free-kick as he is shoved in the Scotland box.
Oli Burke is preparing to come on.
Scotland 1-0 Israel
Obviously, the scoreline is positive for Scotland. But Ofir Marciano has had nothing to do apart from trying - unsuccessfully - to save Ryan Christie's penalty.
Mind you, Steve Clarke's Kilmarnock were masters at this kind of thing. And it's been a long time since Scotland were tough to beat. Still 24 minutes to go, mind...
