Spurs finally got their first win of the campaign with a satisfying day made even more so with a goal for Alex Morgan. But a league victory still evades Bristol City who battled away to claim a 1-1 draw with Reading.
Right, let's have a quick recap before we sign off...
Everton 0-3 Man City
All over. City far too good for this under-strength Everton side.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Hemp to Stanway again on the counter for Manchester City, but the latter's shot flies wide.
Chloe Kelly was free at the back post. A simple square ball and it would've been four.
Seconds left.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Three minutes added on.
City happy to keep hold of possession.
Everton 0-3 Man City
The floodlights are on full beam now.
It's cold, it's dark. Everton just want this game over.
Under 60 seconds until we hit 90.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Ah that should have been 3-1!
Steph Houghton fails to deal with a ball over the top and Everton skipper Lucy Graham latches onto the loose ball before firing just wide.
That was the chance. Three minutes and added time remaining.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Everton and Man City have faced each three times before today this calendar year. All of those games finished 3-1 to City.
To be honest, I don't see Everton nabbing a consolation goal now.
Meanwhile, Sam Mewis sees a shot blocked by a wall of blue. Five to go.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Eight minutes to go. Everton look exhausted, I'm sure they'd take the final whistle right now.
Everton 0-3 Man City
So nearly a fourth for City on the counter.
Lauren Hemp's cross is just beyond an onrushing Georgia Stanway.
That was five against two. Scary stuff.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Double sub for Everton. Maeva Clemaron and Haley Raso are off.
Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and Molly Pike are on.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Ellen White, who got City's first is coming off for Georgia Stanway.
The 21-year-old scored against Everton as a sub in the FA Cup final last month.
Meanwhile, Steph Houghton picks up a yellow for dissent.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Approaching the last 15 now in our final WSL game of the weekend.
City have already made four changes. Everton are yet to make their first.
Essentially, the visitors have plenty of strength in depth. The Toffees do not.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Janine Beckie is replaced by Lauren Hemp.
Lovely scenes. Hemp is playing her first competitive match since her injury in the Community Shield at the start of the season.
Everton 0-3 Man City
I thought that was the moment for Everton.
Alex Greenwood mistimes a header and Hayley Raso is suddenly through on goal. Her touch is too heavy though and City keeper Ellie Roebuck rushes out to dive on the loose ball.
Spurs 3-1 Brighton
Alex Morgan's first goal for Spurs helped her team to their first league win of the season.
Her late penalty secured the points in an even game, with Kerys Harrop and Angela Addison also on target for Spurs.
Brighton performed well and Inessa Kaagman's 33rd minute penalty levelled matters and she also struck the crossbar with a long-range effort in the second period.
The win moves Spurs up to ninth, two points behind today's opponents who remain eighth.
Everton 0-3 Man City
Alex Greenwood's first touch is to take a corner on the nearside.
Her delivery finds Steph Houghton but the England captain can only head it straight at Sandy MacIver.
