Once again it was Kirby into Kerr - that's the second time we have seen that today.
We're under way in three more WSL games in a busy afternoon of action.
Arsenal are looking to get over the slightest of wobbles against Birmingham City, Spurs will be anxious to get their first win of the season at home to Brighton, and bottom club Bristol City are also looking for a first league win away at Reading.
Plenty to play for at both ends of the table and we'll keep you updated with it all.
Sam Kerr (68 mins)
Hat-trick complete.
West Ham get a short goal-kick all wrong.
Fran Kirby sets up Sam Kerr who has another simple tap-in for a hat-trick.
Right as she struck it she clashed hips with West Ham's Cecilie Redisch.
Kerr looks in pain here.
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham
Double sub for Chelsea. Beth England and Ji So-yun make way.
Sophie Ingle and Guro Reiten come on.
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham
This game has slowed right down. Even the 700 Chelsea supporters at Kingsmeadow aren't as loud as they once were.
All gone a bit stale.

Rob Pratley: If Chelsea win, you can have the headline Kerr-fect, free of charge!
Big mistake Rob, you could've charged a fortune for a headline like that.
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham
Straight swap in defence for Chelsea as Millie Bright comes on for Maria Thorisdottir.
And teenager Ruby Grant replaces Kate Longhurst for West Ham.
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham
Sam Kerr's on a hat-trick. We've hardly mentioned her all game. But she has a sixth sense in the box, always in the right place at the right time.
Sam Kerr (55 mins)
Back to normality.
It's far too easy for the champions. Pernille Harder has too much time in the box.
She takes a fierce strike which is parried by West Ham keeper Mackenzie Arnold, but Sam Kerr is on hand to tap home the rebound.
Chelsea 1-1 West Ham
The Blues are aiming for a record-breaking 12 consecutive home wins in the WSL today.
That Rachel Daly goal has thrown a spanner in the works. In fact, it's all West Ham right now, but no major chances since the leveller.
Chelsea 1-1 West Ham
The last Chelsea game I covered on a WSL BBC Sport live text, Chelsea surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Everton in the FA Cup.
Will history repeat itself?

Back in the game! What a good build up on the left hand side from West Ham, but it was really poor defending from a Chelsea perspective.
I did wonder if Rachel Daly was going to hit the post, but from a West Ham perspective what a great goal.
Rachel Daly (47 mins)
Wow. What did Billy Stewart say to West Ham at half-time?
Adriana Leon breaks down the left and fizzes the ball across the face of goal. Two Chelsea defenders don't clear it and birthday girl Rachel Daly is on hand to tap in to an open net.
Chelsea 1-0 West Ham
Second half gets under way. More of the same please.
Remember, you can watch this one at the top of this page and on the BBC Red Button.
Everton v Man City (14:30 GMT)
It's been a little over four weeks since Everton and Manchester City played out a terrific FA Cup final at Wembley.
Late extra-time goals from Georgia Stanway and Janine Beckie settled the tie for City in the 50th ever Women's cup final.
But, just like they did back in November, I think Everton can cause their opponents plenty of problems here at Walton Hall Park.
The Toffees are currently two points better off than the visitors in the table, and a win today will put them just three points off top.
Reading v Bristol City (14:00 BST)
The Royals will welcome back fans to the Madejski Stadium for the first time this season when they take on struggling Bristol City.
Mid-table Reading are on a run of three consecutive draws but start the game only three points behind fifth-placed Manchester City.
Bristol City lost their first five games of the WSL season, before England under-19 striker Ebony Salmon's late goal earned a 2-2 draw with Spurs in their last league action.
The Robins have been on the wrong end of a string of heavy defeats already this campaign but encouragement has come in the form of some good Continental Cup performances which have seen them progress to the quarter finals of the competition.
Arsenal v Birmingham City (14:00 GMT)
Arsenal return to league action today looking to put an end to their first slight blip of the season after a flying start to the campaign.
Before the international break Manchester United put an end to the Gunners' perfect start with a 1-0 win, before a draw against London rivals Chelsea.
Visitors Birmingham City will need to be on their guard against the WSL's top scorers this season. Arsenal have 30 goals in their seven league games, with Dutch forward Vivienne Miedema bagging a third of them.
But the Blues come into the game in decent form with three wins in their past five games and will be looking to build on the morale-boosting victory last time out against rivals Aston Villa which handed them second-city bragging rights.
Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton (14:00 GMT)
Spurs welcome Brighton to The Hive this afternoon, still looking for their first league win of the season.
They will be hoping United States international Alex Morgan will find her form, with the World Cup winner - who starts - having a slow beginning to her career in England and missing the deciding penalty in a Continental League Cup game against Arsenal.
Brighton have had a mixed start to the campaign but can move into the top half of the table with victory today.
Hope Powell's side picked-up their first victory since the opening day of the season with a narrow win over West Ham in their last match, bringing a five-game winless run to an end.
Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton (14:00 GMT)
New Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner has included Alex Morgan in her starting line-up against Brighton this afternoon.
Josie Green captains the side as they look to pick-up their first three points of the season.
