Another decent attack from United ends in a corner but Paul Pogba can't bring it down. Yerry Mina comes away with it and sets Alex Iwobi free on the left.

Gyfli Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin sprint through in the middle but the cross is poor. That's not the first time Iwobi has done that. Disappointing.

Richarlison almost gets away down the left but Axel Tuanzebe recovers to get his body in the way just as he's about to shoot.

Just 12 touches from Dominic Calvert-Lewin in that first half, apparently. The least of any outfield player.

Everton need to get him more involved.

Loser92: The Toffees have withstood any pressure Manchester United have been able to put them under and they seem to have grown into the game. They can win this tie in the second half.

BatmansLeftNostril: Van de Beek is showing that he is nowhere near Fernandes' level. Don't get why he always runs behind defenders. He should be the one who finds Cavani and Greenwood with his final passes.

The psychology is in Everton's favour - over the half the better team was Man United and they had more chances but it's still 0-0. Everton are going in there with smiles because they've ended the half well and not conceded a goal which they probably deserved to.

Psychologically one manager is happier than the other and one set of players will be happier than the other and it's the Evertonians just now. They're now chasing their favourite end in the second half, and what's more, that end has got 2000 fans sitting in it.

A nice punch to that half. Everton took their time to get going and perhaps did well to keep it goalless but as the half progressed they came back into it.

Judging by the fact he's the only one out warming-up, Everton midfielder Tom Davies could well be introduced after half-time.

Don't forget, the semi-final draw will take place straight after this match. So far in the draw it's Brentford, Manchester City and Tottenham.

You look to the Everton manager and think did he change it slightly, did he move the midfield up a bit because Richarlison changed with Alex Iwobi and they asked a few questions.

I just think sometimes you get an ebb and flow of a game. If you start that slowly, as Everton did, it can effect your mindset. Man Utd have done well to keep a good mindset but they haven't managed to keep it for the entirety of the half.

No goals but plenty of chances. United started off with a bang but Everton have grown into it.

Edinson Cavani makes a nice run into the box and it's a brilliant, acrobatic clearance from Yerry Mina.

His legs are above his head! One for Youtube.

Bruno Fernandes then has a chance from a free-kick just outside the box but it's curled comfortably into the keeper's hands.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer probably the more frustrated manager at half time? Everton rode the storm and are definitely finishing stronger.

United missed so many chances early-on.

Gylfi Sigurdsson tries to backheel it into the path of Alex Iwobi but it's blocked by Axel Tuanzebe.

He picks up the rebound but his strikes it straight down the middle and it's another easy one for Dean Henderson.

Another Everton corner. Gylfi Sigurdsson is over it again but Ben Godfrey is only able to take one touch before Harry Maguire sticks a boot in and clears.

Everton ending the half strongly.

Gylfi Sigurdsson manages to curl it over the wall but not quite far enough into the corner. Dean Henderson comes across and pushes it out for a corner with both hands.
