I want more energy. Let's hope they give more and a better performance.

There are some really good players in the United team and there are goals. I think Mata and Matic are very important for United and go under the radar.

Seth: Where was this talk of lack of leaders when Man United went on a terrific run last season to finish 3rd after no one gave them a chance? I still maintain that these talks are premature. The season is still fresh and these critics will soon change their tunes.

Can't understand United, some great players in the squad, unfortunately due to the lack of commitment from some of them OGS could be out of the door. One player in particular needs to take a long hard look at himself, Pogba, Fergie got rid of him, why did he come back? Never lives up to his billing. Good bye Paul.

Istanbul Basaksehir v Man Utd (17:55 GMT)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tells BT Sport: "Strange times at the moment. For some reason we have performed in away games. We have had some good performances at home without giving a result. We just hope it will be the next one.

"This is game management, we have loads of games coming up and have rotated a few names.

"Dean Henderson has been great in the games he has played and with a game coming up on Saturday morning, that is why we have changed a few positions.

"We want to go and win the game, we have had a great start in the group and if we can win tonight it is a good response from the weekend loss.

"We just focus on this performance and if we get three points that is great. We need to focus tonight. Sometimes names or teams that people do not know about can be a surprise. It won't be for us, we have analysed and are prepared for them."

Rob: People are too harsh; Ole took over when United were a disaster and to some extent a large amount of his team are from that disaster. Give him at least 2 more seasons after this, and then if things aren't improving move him on. Give him a chance like Sir Alex.

Predicting which Man United will turn up these days its like predicting lottery numbers. Get it right and you get a Leipzig performance. Will the real Man Utd please stand up?

After Manchester United it is the turn of Chelsea to take centre stage tonight.

The Blues are top of Group E after a 0-0 home draw with Sevilla, followed by a 4-0 away win over FK Krasnodar, while Rennes, third in France's Ligue 1, are bottom of the table.

Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who joined the Blues from Rennes in September, could face his old club tonight.

"He has shown big parts of his game and made big saves in big moments," said Chelsea boss Frank Lampard. "He has given off a sense of calm in his distribution and coming for crosses. It is early days for him at the club. I am very confident in him.

"When we were in to sign him all the feedback was he had a strong personality in the dressing room. He is very low maintenance. He wants to engage and works hard. He always has a smile on his face, he is a positive in the dressing room."

Richard: Yes, Man United lack leaders. When we concede a goal, check the reaction of the players. Heads down, walking back to their positions. Not a word said.

Oliver Whitton: Man Utd's consistent biggest problem is a lack of structure in attack and inability to control the ball consistently. They struggle when pressed or when breaking down a low block. Nothing to do with 'leaders' on the pitch

What do you say? Agree with Roy that Manchester United lack leaders or is he wide of the mark? And do you feel time is running out for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or are the Champions League performances and results enough to make you confident that the Red Devils will soon come good under him in the Premier League.

After Manchester United's defeat by Arsenal, the Red Devils' ex-captain Roy Keane criticised a lack of leadership at the club

“Well, Roy has always been outspoken,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in response in his pre-match news conference yesterday.

“We've got different jobs. Roy's job is to give his opinion, and I always listen to Roy, but we move on here with a great group of players, a strong group, and I am sure we will see a response.

“I'm very glad we've got the players we have here with us.”

This will be the first time Manchester United have played Istanbul Basaksehir but there are a few familiar names in their squad, not least Rafael da Silva.

The right back played for United between 2008 and 2015 but despite leaving five years ago the affable Brazilian remain a cult hero for Red Devils supporters.

Istanbul Basaksehir v Man Utd (17:55 GMT)

Manchester United make six changes to the side that meekly lost 1-0 to Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The significant one is in goal where Dean Henderson gets his first start in a major game, having previously been restricted to appearances in the Carabao Cup.

Donny van de Beek also starts, as do Axel Tuanzebe, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial.

David de Gea, Victor Lindelof, Fred, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood drop out.

Man Utd XI: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Shaw, Matic, Van de Beek, Mata, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial.

Plenty of former Premier League interest in the Istanbul Basaksehir line-up, with the Turkish champions making a couple of changes from the weekend's win over Konyaspor.

Ex-Manchester United right-back Rafael starts, as do former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and ex-Chelsea and Newcastle striker Demba Ba.

Basaksehir XI: Gunok, Rafael, Skrtel, Epureanu, Bolingloi, Kahveci, Ozcan, Aleksic, Turuc, Visca, Ba.

  18. Lots to look forward topublished at 17:07 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2020

Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Juventus all in action along with Chelsea makes for a very tasty collection of late games tonight.

Someone who will absolutely be champing at the bit to get involved is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Juventus forward is expected to play against Ferencvaros having had the all clear to return to action after recovering from coronavirus.

This will be Ronaldo's first appearance in this season's Champions League and Juventus certainly missed him against Barcelona last week.
