It's an incredible finish from Giroud. It's not the most powerful of overhead kicks - it actually kicks off the turf as it goes in but he manages to claw it round with his big toe almost! It's a perfect finish.

As soon as the ball went in, three out of the four Atletico players claimed for offside but Hermoso, who I feel had the touch, put his hands to his head straight away!

They haven't shown any replays for some reason so I'm not sure if it's an offside or handball check.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea's Jorginho will be suspended for the second leg. He's booked for fouling Joao Felix. That's him and Mason Mount out of that one.

Atletico's makeshift right-back Marcos Llorente kicks the ball straight at Timo Werner and gets booked for hauling the German back as he was set to speed away.

Think the last time I saw Luis Suarez holding his mouth was after he tried to eat Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

It's all going on. Chelsea have a corner and there's some pinball. Atletico counter and Luis Suarez gets a whack on the jaw from Mateo Kovacic's arm on the halfway line. He goes down holding his mouth and Koke has a shot with the loose ball from about 50 yards. It goes wide.

Atletico have come out a little bit more, they are playing more in Chelsea's half, which has given the likes of Mount and Kovacic the chance to get forward. Maybe both teams are just going to turn it up a notch and try and search for that goal.

Joao Felix goes for a goal-of-the-season attempt here. The ball drops to the Atletico forward near the corner of the box and he goes for a flying bicycle kick which goes over the bar.
