A couple of almost-passes for Chelsea around Atletico's penalty area. They've done quite well since that shaky start.

Now Chelsea have a half-chance. Mason Mount whips in a brilliant cross from the right wing but nobody is there to turn it home.

Atletico Madrid should be ahead. Luis Suarez gets the ball near the corner flag from two Chelsea defenders, runs in and squares it across the six-yard box. Thomas Lemar throws himself at the cross at the back post but can't send it into the empty net.

Robert Lewandowski is now the third top scorer in Champions League history with 72. Raul had 71.

Cristiano Ronaldo (134) and Lionel Messi (119) are the top two.

Atletico are happy to give up a lot of territory when Chelsea are in possession but the moment they do get into the Chelsea half, they are pressing very aggressively. They are not giving Chelsea any time to pass the ball around their own half.

Much better from Chelsea; a bit of sustained pressure and they kept the ball for a little bit longer. It's been a nervous start from Chelsea, getting themselves under pressure defensively.

Chelsea have been a lot better since that farcical start. They have a corner now, Mason Mount takes. Luis Suarez heads away.

You can build a team with a strong identity and make a team play out from the back, no matter what minute it is. But really, for the first few minutes of the game, just get it in their half for a bit! Get it away from your goal.
