I bet there was a part of Leipzig that wanted the game to be at Anfield with Liverpool so low on confidence there at the moment. The right decision has been made, regardless of whether it was forced, for the game to be played at the same ground seeming Leipzig lost their home advantage.

PSG 1-0 Barcelona (5-1 on agg)

Clement Lenglet has now conceded more penalties (four) in all competitions than any other player from Europe's top five leagues in 2020-21.

That one seemed extremely harsh, he accidentally caught Mauro Icardi's heel yards away from the ball.

A long, long way back for Barcelona.

  3. 'Liverpool have looked full of energy'published at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

Liverpool 0-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 on agg)

    Stephen Warnock

Liverpool's performance so far has been positive - they have pressed well from the front, and when they've broke forward they have been dynamic and they have looked like they did in the first leg and looked full of energy.

And people question why Salah was subbed against Fulham. Amazing, world class player but he needs time to re-focus!

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

Liverpool 0-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 on agg)

RB Leipzig break again - they look a threat on the counter - and Christopher Nkunku finds Emil Forsberg, who fizzes an effort just wide of the post. Alisson was nowhere near if that was on target.

Fabinho in midfield is making a huge difference, the defensive injuries had robbed the midfield of this.

    Snail Bob in Formby

What a difference already with fabinho being in midfield again - much better balance to the team. Thiago now looks like the player we thought as not not having to worry about defending! Great start, but salah has to score

Dayot Upamecano does extremely well to fire the ball over the bar - it is such a tough skill when you are running back not to put the ball in your own net.

    Kylian Mbappe (30 mins, pen)

    All over?

Kylian Mbappe sends Marc-Andre ter Stegen the wrong way and becomes the youngest player in Champions League history to reach 25 goals.

Lovely move by Liverpool involving Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold but Dayot Upamecano is there to hook the ball over his own bar with Mo Salah lurking. Diogo Jota gets up to meet the corner again but this time his header loops into Peter Gulacsi's gloves.

  10. PENALTYpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

PSG 0-0 Barcelona (4-1 on agg)

Barcelona youngster Oscar Mingueza needs to be careful here.

He has picked up an early yellow for a foul on Kylian Mbappe, and then commits another foul just moments later.

A good spell for PSG then results in a VAR check for a penalty after Clement Lenglet clips the back of Mauro Icardi's leg.

    Oh and it's been given!

The signs are there for Liverpool, they are creating and getting the opportunities.

PSG 0-0 Barcelona (4-1 on agg)

Barcelona have had 10 shots already in this game after about 25 minutes.

They had 12 in the whole of the first leg.

Marco Verratti does really well to turn sharply and carry the ball forward and temporarily relive the pressure.

Mohamed Salah never looked confident, or in control of the situation. Jurgen Klopp is again frustrated, he knows that his side should have taken one of the chances that has come their way.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

Liverpool 0-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 on agg)

Liverpool get the ball up the pitch quickly following a RB Leipzig free kick and Thiago plays a superb ball over the top for Mo Salah. He's one-on-one but shoots straight at the keeper.

Big chance, but what a ball that was by Thiago. He's looking absolutely on it tonight.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

PSG 0-0 Barcelona (4-1 on agg)

That's a great save from Keylor Navas!

Sergino Dest cuts in from the right and blasts a shot at goal, but Navas stands firm and gets enough on it with an outstretched arm to divert the ball onto the bar.

    PSG are living dangerously...

  17. 'Leipzig starting to cause problems'published at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

Liverpool 0-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 on agg)

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a good save. The zonal marking causes Leipzig problems. The ball in from Trent Alexander-Arnold was pinpoint, and it was a perfectly timed run by Diogo Jota, he just couldn't guide it.

Leipzig have grown into the game though, and are starting to cause problems.

Barca are all over PSG at the moment.

Jordi Alba is played in by Lionel Messi but his pass across goal is booted out for a corner, which Pedri wastes.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2021

Liverpool 0-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 on agg)

Good chance for Liverpool as Diogo Jota directs a header towards goal from a corner but Peter Gulacsi sticks out his left hand and pushes the ball over.

The Reds are almost caught out from their own corner, however, as RB Leipzig break and Alisson flaps at a cross but he is saved by his defence.
