Luke: Not done the maths, but City's sub bench must be worth just as much if not more than every English side that has managed to win the Champions League. Money does talk as Pep says.

As a life-long red, it is so hard to see the blues play this well. I don't think I remember a time when we played as well oiled from back to front as consistently as Pep's men have, pure class.

Sergio Aguero could be a big player if City have the best of him until the end of the season. It could make all the difference - but are you going to get the best out of him between now and then?

Any hopes of a comeback did not last long.

Needing two more to win on away goals, Atalanta bewilderingly take off Muriel, who had just scored moments earlier.

Artem Spe: You can’t assemble a squad like City have without a manager like Guardiola. Top players willing to spend time on the bench because they know they will always be challenging for silverware on multiple fronts. Not many managers can promise that.

Pep loves a lefty! Before the introduction of Aguero, 6 left-footed players and 5 right! I wonder if that has ever been seen before?

Borussia Monchengladbach could just sit back now but they still have five, six players going for an attack. They're not thinking they are going to get back into this tie but there has been a real pride in there performance. It's really good to see a team not throw the towel in and just put 10 men behind the ball.
