Real Madrid 2-0 Atalanta (agg 3-0)

Atalanta are coming out of their shells here as Joakim Maehle tests Thibaut Courtois from distance and the keeper then saves superbly one-on-one from Duvan Zapata.

Madrid could have been out of sight already, though, had Karim Benzema not seen one close-range header saved by Marco Sportiello and then nodded the follow-up on to the post.

Much more controlled from City in the second half. That high tempo press has slowed slightly. They have still created chances - most of them through Riyad Mahrez. In the first half it was forward, forward, forward by City. Now, if they need to kill it a little bit, they're happy to do that. They're making sure the opposition are doing the hard yards.
