How many times has Edouard Mendy been tested - he hasn't. That's a credit to this Chelsea side. They haven't had many chances but their one chance they took.

They've been clinical on the counter-attack. They've played Atletico at their own game at times, their game management has been superb. Really good performance so far.

Atletico have been one of Europe's finest sides at making opposition teams uncomfortable under Simeone. Chelsea have never been out of their comfort zone tonight.

So the slimmest of slim hopes Atletico had are now reduced to next to zero. They need two goals in eight minutes with 10 men.

Chelsea have made another change. Callum Hudson-Odoi is on for Timo Werner.

That Lazio goal has spiced things up, for the outcome of this match alone at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hakim Ziyech comes off because he's giving the ball away quite a lot and Thomas Tuchel is not very happy there at the side of the pitch. I wouldn't be surprised if he hauls Ziyech off - Chelsea aren't getting enough possession and it's meaning Atletico can get in the game - they're just giving the ball away too much.
