This game has been like a basketball match so far - end-to-end. Chelsea started brightly but Real Madrid are growing back into the game and their midfield are starting to get on top and are causing problems.

N'Golo Kante has never attacked so much, he's piling forwards at every chance. He finds Christian Pulisic, who clips in a cross and finds Timo Werner but he just can't get up to meet it properly.

He'd have a case. A lot of ifs in there though - no idea who else would even be in with a shout at this stage. The Euros will have a say.

Toni Kroos now bends the ball wide from range. Real snapping into gear.

Karim Benzema didn't actually chest that down, he juggled it on his head and then belted in. Brilliantly done.

This has been an excellent match so far. Benzema has 71 goals in the Champions League now, level with the great Raul.

That is a fantastic finish and that's why he is one of the best strikers around. He gets a lot of criticism but his goals to game ratio is superb.

Two Chelsea players went for the ball, but the touch and finish from Karim Benzema is top class. It is a proper centre forward's finish. It was devastating.

Richard: Real Madrid's wing backs seem uncomfortable with the position. Regularly too high or too deep. Leaving so much space for Chelsea's WBs or wide forwards. Flattering that Zidane tried to copy us, but he really shouldn't have.

Rob: I think it'd be fair to say Real Madrid don't look comfortable playing 3 at the back. Zidane has completely handed the impetus to Chelsea here. They need to capitalise though because it won't stay like this.

The midfield of Luka Modric, Casemiro and Toni Kroos aren't doing their jobs at the moment.

I don't know where Marcelo is playing - it's not at left wing-back. He's coming inside and not really doing anything. He's not helping Nacho, who is getting overrun.
