  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 71 mins

    England 3-0 Wales

Brilliant again from Jack Grealish, weaving through the middle and wrongfooting Welshmen, Mason Mount then picks out Bukayo Saka on the left of the area and his shot is deflected up into the air and clawed out by Wayne Hennessey...

Ian Wright and Mark Bright, of course.

  3. 'Complete dominance from England'published at 21:26 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    England 3-0 Wales

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a classic Danny Ings goal. Alive in the six yard area, alert to where the ball might drop. An overhead kick and he just gets it on target, he makes great contact, great athleticism. Wayne Hennessey had no chance, England are on top now. It's complete dominance.

  4. Mings, Ings and thingspublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    England 3-0 Wales

    Dafydd Pritchard
    BBC Sport Wales

With Tyrone Mings winning the header to set up Danny Ings for his goal, I'm wondering if there have been other rhyming combinations for goals?

    Tonight's hot topic!

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 66 mins

    England 3-0 Wales

Jack Grealish is just getting better and better out there, weaving away down the England left and lacing in a powerful shot which Wayne Hennessey has to tip away and wide. That was heading in I think.

  8. 'Lovely finish from Ings'published at 21:23 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    England 3-0 Wales

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

It's a lovely improvised finish to find the corner.

He's a fantastic finisher, Ings - we saw that all last season.

You wouldn't call it a thrashing - all the balls could have been dealt with.

  9. 'Danny Ings now in main number nine position'published at 21:23 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    England 3-0 Wales

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Danny Ings is now up front as the pivot in the main number nine position. When you come and play for the England you never want to play out of position, but obviously you want to play so you're never going to say no but you want that opportunity in your position.

  10. goal

GOAL - England 3-0 Walespublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    Danny Ings (63 mins)

What a goal that is! Tyrone Mings towers up to head a corner back across goal and Danny Ings throws himself into an overhead kick, he's only six yards out, bang central, and it flies past Wayne Hennessey before he can smell it.

    Ings' first goal for England.

  11. Postpublished at 62 mins

England well on top now, Ethan Ampadu is replaced before he is sent off for Wales.

  12. Calvert-Lewin makes his impactpublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

Dominic Calvert-Lewin off just before the hour and the Everton striker will have delighted England manager Gareth Southgate, not just with his goal but all-round performance. This is a player bursting with confidence.

  13. Postpublished at 60 mins

    England 2-0 Wales

Danny Ings is through the middle for England then, with Jack Grealish and Mason Mount just off him.

  14. Postpublished at 59 mins

Conor Coady is now captaining England. He'll be Prime Minister by midnight.

  15. 'Mepham lost his man for both goals'published at 21:16 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    England 2-0 Wales

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

Wales have looked good defensively of late so the nature of the two goals will disappoint Ryan Giggs.

We haven't nailed down a centre-back partnership because we've had to chop and change recently.

Chris Mepham will be particularly disappointed, losing his man for both goals.

Greg: Conor Coady you can see how chuffed he is with that goal

What a ball from Trippier. Impossible to defend that.

    Jake in Newcastle

Absolutely brilliant to see C Coady's genuine joy at representing England and scoring a goal for his country. Doesn't matter it is a friendly, that reaction is exactly what you would hope being involved with England is all about. Great stuff

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 58 mins

    England 2-0 Wales

Ethan Ampadu has been chasing Jack Grealish around all half, or his shadow anyway, and he's now in the book for a foul from begind.

Joe Gomez, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Kieran Trippier all come off. On come Mason Mount, Reece James and Tyrone Mings.

  18. Postpublished at 57 mins

Conor Coady scores with 50% of shots he takes. Fact.

  19. Postpublished at 56 mins

Unlucky - Rabbi Matondo rattles a low shot against the post from 20 yards on the angle but he was offside. Good response from the visitors.

  20. goal

GOAL - England 2-0 Walespublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 8 October 2020

    Conor Coady (53 mins)

    And that's even MORE remarkable!

Kieran Trippier whips in a peach of a free-kick from the right, it carries over the whole Wales defence and there's Conor Coady to stab in with the outside of his boot.

He must never go up for Wolves, surely?!

Understandably, he looks absolutely pleased as punch with that.
