Sulamon Adelekan: Decent second debut for Theo Walcott and he will cherish the equalizer. Chelsea are still work in progress. Massive point for the Saints.
Sho: Hassenhuttl is such an underrated manager
Finn Kid: This Chelsea team reminds me of the 2017/18 Liverpool team. A phenomenal front four but the defence is extremely leaky.

Jermaine Beckford
Ex-Leeds Utd striker on Final Score
I think Kepa has been a little bit unlucky. The ball has gone through a crowd of people. Theo Walcott has hit it into the ground and the flick it got altered the direction of the ball. Maybe he's been a bit unfortunate but this Chelsea defence is all over the place.
Chelsea 3-3 Southampton
Southampton left it late but you can't deny they deserve a point for their persistence.
It looked like Timo Werner and Kai Havertz had done the job for Chelsea, but Jannick Verstergaard's injury-time header is the final word.

Southampton were in no hurry with that free kick.
This is the Southampton team that never gives up.
Theo Walcott is so clever, he realises he's not getting near the ball, he steps away, he miss-hits his shot and then it's such a clever header from Vestergaard.
They were completely outplayed in the first half but they have stuck at it.

Former England and Arsenal defender on Final Score
For every Southampton goal, Chelsea have had a huge part to play in it. There are going to be so many question marks about this Chelsea defence again after today's game.
Jannik Vestergaard
Salvation for the Saints. And a sting in the tail for Chelsea.
Southampton are rewarded for hanging in and retaining a positive intent with a goal that is likely to earn them a big point.
A free-kick is headed away to the edge of the box by Zouma but fired back in by Walcott, whose shot is steered into the net by the head of the stooping Jannik Vestergaard.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
Timo Werner won't be getting a standing ovation but he deserves one. His first two Premier League goals set Chelsea up for what they are hoping will be a victory here. He is replaced by Tammy Abraham.
We're going to have four added minutes.

Wonderful skill from Ziyech.
Chelsea fans would have been on their feet after that.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
Change for both sides. Reece James replaces Christian Pulisic for Chelsea and summer signing Ibrahima Diallo is on for Southampton, with Shane Long joining him.
Che Adams and Oriol Romeu depart.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
First little sign of what Ziyech is capable of as he collects the ball in the Chelsea half and nutmegs his marker. He can't quite get through to reach the loose ball, though.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
Kante is sent to the turf by a late tackle from Oriol Romeu, formerly of Chelsea, and the midfielder is into the book.

How classy is that Southampton away kit? Stunning!
Laurie, Cheam
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
Great work from Southampton almost brings them level. Theo Walcott runs at pace down the right and pulls a ball back for Ings to latch on to, take a touch and then fire a low shot that Kepa gets down well to save.

I seem to remember Bergkamp and Henry both scored their first Premier League goals against Southampton. We are very kind to these world class players in Hampshire you know.

Timo Werner is showing a different element to his game playing down the middle. He's coming short, going long. He's been the focal point for Chelsea today. Southampton's back line have not been able to cope with his link-up play. The only way Southampton have been able to stay in this game has been through Chelsea's mistakes.

Great from Theo Walcott, he came behind the Chelsea back four who backed off and backed off.
He then laid it off to Che Adams, who then dragged it wide.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
First change for Saints sees one Nathan replace another. Tella for Redmond.
Shortly after the sub, Che Adams pulls an angled shot just wide of the far post to remind Chelsea that his side are far from done.
Chelsea 3-2 Southampton
Havertz could easily have had another goal here as he rises to meet a corner. Gets his effort wrong, though, putting his header over the bar.

Mark Burt: Kepa makes Pickford look like Gordon Banks. He’s turned inept into an art form.
Shivam: Ballack arguably the greatest free signing in Chelsea history - if not PL. Kepa on the other hand...
