A frustrating afternoon for this lad.

Newcastle bring on Isaac Hayden for Miguel Almiron to toughen up midfield and try to see out the rest of this game.

Pretty much 10 behind the ball now for Newcastle as Everton desperately seek parity. Most of the play is concentrated between halfway and 10 yards in front of the home box.

Everton are committing more and more men forward and it is leaving space in behind for Newcastle to exploit on the counter. We may actually have a decent last 10 minutes in front of us.

Not a huge amount of width in the Manchester United team, but a lot of talent. Scott McTominay comes into midfield alongside Fred and Paul Pogba, with Bruno Fernandes back in as the link man and Marcus Rashford partnering Mason Greenwood in attack.

Donny van de Beek, the new Veron, misses out again after impressing in Europe.

Arsenal are all change from the win over Dundalk - well more or less. There are 10 alterations and it looks like back four for the Gunners today.

That is Kenny's last act as he is replaced by the more attack-minded Alex Iwobi.

Shortly after the change, Michael Keane heads over after connecting with a free-kick swung into the box.

Everton with a good bit of pressure, but Newcastle throw bodies in the way to deny them. Jonjoe Kenny is in down the right but his low ball is cut out.

Ryan Fraser comes on for Alain Saint-Maximin. A familiar change for Newcastle.

Manchester United

Score a hat-trick after coming on, get a start. Seems fair enough.

Marcus Rashford MBE returns to the Manchester United startline line-up, as one of three changes. Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay also come in to the team who beat Leipzig.

Arsenal make 10 changes from the Europea League side. Only Mo Elneny is working a double shift as Aubemeyang, Lacazette and co all come back in.

Now it's about protecting that lead and slowing the game down.

They won't mind that it's now getting scrappy.

Yellow cards flying around now. Allan is booked for taking down Murphy as he looked to drive into the Everton half.

Mina is into the book now for bringing down Saint-Maximin as the Newcastle forward looked to break away. A necessary act and a deserved yellow.

Everton's second change sees Cenk Tosun replace Niels Nkounkou. Going two up top.
