  5. Postpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

There's no sign of an announcement from West Ham regarding Said Benrahma yet...or from Crystal Palace about Jack Butland.

Clubs can still announce players after 19:00 BST, they just need to have ensured all the necessary paperwork was completed before that second deadline.

  6. Postpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

I also asked you earlier if you were a fan of this additional EFL transfer window.

More of you are, than not, but it's not resounding.

It will be interesting to see if this becomes a permanent fixture in the English and Wales football calendar.

We're still waiting to hear if they've been successful and if Jack Butland is on the move too.

  8. Good news for Leeds fanspublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

We didn't get to share this earlier because the window shut at the same time, but long-serving Swiss defender Gaetano Berardi has signed a new one-year contract with Leeds United which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The 32-year-old has made 142 appearances for the club since signing in 2014. He is currently the longest serving first-team player, but is still recovering from an ACL injury which he received surgery for.
