  13. Into extra-time with Said Benrahmapublished at 17:18 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

Those deadline-day deal sheets have made an appearance.

West Ham and Brentford have until 1900BST to get the transfer sorted out.

My understanding is the clubs are now working towards a loan deal, which will involve a fee that will be subtracted from the agreed £25m + add-ons transfer.

It is likely to involve an obligation to buy.

  14. Busy window for Swansea Citypublished at 17:13 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

It's been a busy day for Swansea who have completed the signing of Joel Latibeaudiere from Manchester City.

The youngster has also featured heavily in the England set up where he was part of the squad that won the U17 World Cup in 2017.

He joins Kasey Palmer at the Liberty Stadium, after the midfielder completed a loan move from Bristol City.

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

Manchester United have triggered the one-year option on midfielder Paul Pogba’s contract.

Without it, the France star would have been out of contract at the end of the season.

It now means that Pogba is tied to Old Trafford until 2022.

During the international break, the 27-year-old restated his belief that a move to Real Madrid would be ‘a dream’.

However, it is understood the decision to extend his contract was taken a few weeks ago, before Pogba’s latest statement.

  19. Swans sign Palmer on loanpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 16 October 2020

Swansea have signed Bristol City midfielder Kasey Palmer on loan until the end of the season.

Palmer will be joining a host of familiar faces at the Liberty stadium.

He made 29 appearances in all competitions for the Robins last term, playing alongside his now Swansea team-mate Korey Smith.

Smith will not be the only familiar face for Palmer, who knows Matt Grimes, Freddie Woodman and Morgan Gibbs-White through the England set-up, and Marc Guehi from their time together at Chelsea.
