The press from high up the pitch by Leeds is excellent.

They know the speed of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang though and there are going to be spaces in this game.

No-one seemed quite sure what formation Leeds would play pre-match, with some of the online graphics showing them with a 3-3-3-1 set up. Now we're under way it is 4-1-4-1 with Patrick Bamford as the lone striker and Kalvin Phillips linking defence and midfield.

The hosts have started well, too, with good possession in the early stages.

Willian has gone out to the left and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is playing down the middle.

It will be exciting to see what he can bring to the game in that position.

Nice touch as the players come out with Leeds captain Liam Cooper carrying a computer tablet with the mascots watching on from their home. A way to still get that mascot experience in these strange times.

It is also probably for the best with regards to today anyway as it is absolutely chucking it down in West Yorkshire.

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder to BBC Radio 5 Live: "Disappointed. I thought we started off in good fashion, positive, but in a game which was always going to be tight and was decided by a fabulous finish.

"I'd rather not get beat, but I'd rather get beat 1-0 than 5-0. The Premier League is ruthless, it punishes you if you don't show that quality. When we need that little bit we can't seem to find it to turn the tide in games.

"We have to keep going. It's a rollercoaster football club. At the moment things aren't going our way but we must stick together and go to West Brom and see if we can get a result there.

"I've seen enough [from the players] right the way through. I'm honest in what I'm looking at, there wasn't much in the game - they found the finish and we haven't. Nobody gets anything handed out to them, we just need to keep going."

There's a first start for Raphinha for Leeds today after making four appearances off the bench so far this season.

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, speaking to Match of the Day: "It wasn't the system - it was players' confidence and decision-making at key times that decided the result, it's going to be that way when you have picked up one point from nine games.

"We'll go again, we have to. I am there to lead them and I certainly enjoy that challenge.

"Without being disrespectful to some of the places this football club has had to go, it is no good taking a backwards step and feeling sorry for yourself.

"It is the Premier League, we have earned the right to be here and have to do some things pretty quickly to stay in it and protect our status as a Premier League club. Long way to go."

  15. 'No one is going to help us'published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

FT: Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, speaking to Sky Sports: "We have got to keep going. No one is going to help you. It's ruthless and cut-throat. No one is bothered about us apart from ourselves and our supporters so we have to keep going.

I take responsibility for everything, we are all hurting. We have to pick ourselves up and go again. I'm the leader and I am the one they look at. My attitude is a very positive one going into this week.

  16. 'I hope we can play even better'published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: “I am thrilled to pick up three points. They have a lot of good players, a good manager - I know what it is like, when you get into a losing run.

“Our boys at the moment are playing with a lot of confidence and thankfully we got another win today.

"I hope we can play even better. Eighth is great at the moment, I hope we can look towards the top and not the bottom as we have done too often.

"We are not going to get too carried away, but in the dressing room there is a great spirit - we have changed a lot of things behind the scenes and the players are buying into it.

"We have to make sure the players enjoy their work and work that will help us in the games."

  17. 'Arteta's Arsenal yet to click'published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Leeds v Arsenal (16:30 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal are almost a bit robotic in how they play - they don't seem to have that element of freedom.

It's all from the training pitch, but sometimes in a game you have to be able to see things.

Looking at their position in the league, something has to change. It will click at some point, but how long will it take?

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five away games against Leeds in all competitions, winning the last four in a row by an aggregate score of 15-4.

Leeds' last win against Arsenal at Elland Road was in 2000 when a deflected free-kick from Olivier Dacourt - his first goal for Leeds - proved enough for the home side to take all three points.

  20. 'Wilder is right man for the job'published at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

Sheffield United’s George Baldock: "It's been our story of the season, good box to box but not taking our chances - it's not just the strikers, we are lacking that final bit and it is costing us at the moment.

"We built our partnerships for a long time, we like to overload the wide areas, we did that well but the final bit cost us again.

"Without making excuses, we have had key men injured. We are confident at the start of a game we can go out and get something, there's no point dwelling on it - it's a tough old league.

“He (Chris Wilder) won't let our heads get down, we'll get back out on the training ground and go again.

"It's that belief, continuing to work hard. We showed last year we are a match for anyone.

"He has had to work hard as well as the payers he has recruited, we have go that humble background. He is the best man for the job."
